This thread is for quick questions. A "quick question" is a question which has a relatively quick, generally factual answer; a question which is not likely to inspire an extended discussion.
e.g.
Quick Question: How tall is an average ten-year-old boy?
Not a Quick Question: Why are Americans obsessed with guns?
Quick Question: Why is ALS sometimes called Lou Gehrig's Disease? Who was Lou Gehrig?
Not a Quick Question: In Alan Dean Foster's Thranx Commonwealth series, is Pip a Mary Sue?
Get the idea?

For the first one, the term is peafowl.
For nieces and nephews, the English language has no accepted term.
Reposting this since it has been unanswered for several months already:
If you're asking about how Undertale should be listed on this particular wiki, you'll be more likely to get an answer in Ask The Tropers, not here.
"Jack, you have debauched my sloth."Because it's not professional editing software, but there are people who think that because they get it bundled with their computers, they're just as good as professionals.
I hate it mostly on the basis of trying to work with it. It's so limited next to the professional non-linear editors I have experience with. And the effects it offers make it strikingly like Geocities: serviceable if it's all you've got, but easier to make an eye-bleeding mess than a professional product.
Fresh-eyed movie blogIf you're looking for good video editing software, Sony Vegas Pro is amazing (and is what I use) although it can be quite expensive. Expect around $500 for it. Meanwhile, Sony Vegas Movie Studio is similar to Pro, although it has a couple major features taken out, and the price is way lower (about $50-$100 iirc).
Outside of Sony, there's also Adobe Premiere Pro, which has some excellent video effects and isn't limited in the slightest. It does have a bit of a learning curve, though, and the price is high, so watch out for that. On a positive note, movies such as Hugo, Deadpool, Gone Girl, and Avatar have been edited on it, and CNN uses it much of the time.
Either one is way better than Windows Movie Maker, but they're not really necessary unless you really want to edit heavily. If you're not looking for big editors, I recommend looking on CNET for some free editors better than WMM. It's not hard to find some. After all, the new version of Movie Maker sucks.
"If you spend all your heart / On something that has died / You are not alive and that can't be a life"I'm not a Mac person, but I far preferred iMovie to Windows Movie Maker until they gave it a lobotomy ("a more intuitive user interface!") in 2009. Shortly before doing the same to Final Cut, which used to be a major competitor in the professional market.
Fresh-eyed movie blogI'm not sure if there hard rules, but here's what "sounds right" to me (and pretty much apply to any city name):
- When used alone, it is masculine: "le Grand Paris" ("le", "grand" are masculine), "Paris, que Marseille a dépassé..." (the past participle "dépassé" is masculine, and in this particular sentence must match the object "Paris").
- When referred to as a city in the sentence (which I reckon is going to be most of the cases) the feminine gender of the word "ville" (or "cité" sometimes) takes precedence: "la belle ville de Paris" ("la", "belle" is feminine).
