Shouldn't this be bundled into TheLowMiddleAges?: Dark Age Europe

They are practically identical and there is no real need for both. I suggest bundling Dark Age Europe into The Low Middle Ages, since the latter is part of a series.

The Dung Ages is different — that's any period in the past being presented as consistently nasty, dirty or horrible whether it actually was or not.

Yes, The Dung Ages is entirely different — Dark Age Europe and The Low Middle Ages are both often portrayed as The Dung Ages, but so are many other periods. The point here is that Dark Age Europe and The Low Middle Ages basically depict the same time and place, with no particular differentiation.
