I feel I get less aggro with Arcane, and It's been my pet spec since I was level 10 >_>

I just prefer the feel of it, I'm leveling a worgen mage for the express purpose of having a fire mage.

Haven't tried the new arcane yet but I'm in love with fire. Scorch really helps cut down on the down time while dungeoning.

Well then it seems I need to do stonetalon......sounds fun, and a entirely obvious reference. Man embersilk cloth is cheap on my realm, it bottomed out at 78g this weekend. Its hovering around 130g now. It was over 200g last week. I stocked up and hope it goes back up.

I'm afraid that it won't. People gear up, running instances becomes easier and easier, more instances means more cloth drops. Plus recent patch upped the rate of gaining additional cloth for tailors.

I'm ok with this, I sell herbs once I'm done with them, and I made tons of money

Uhm about that stonetalon quest chain it actually ends with garrosh pulling a Even Evil Has Its Standards

That would assume Garrosh is evil.

Garrosh is a stubborn raging Jerkass, but he's not evil.

I wouldn't say that Garrosh "Send-My-Aerial-Escort-To-Attack-A-Random-Alliance-Fleet-While-Flying-Into-Enemy-Territory" Hellscream is evil, just a total moron.

Yeah, not one of his better moments.

Of course, so far his list of better moments is basically "the end of Stonetalon Mountains."

I'd say he was both evil and a moron. Garden-variety warmonger evil, it's true, but evil all the same. He is, after all, starting an essentially pointless world war for more lebensraum, even while the rest of the world is busily trying to fend off Deathwing and his buddies.

Surely you mean he's not a Blood Elf paladin?

^^ Not all the rest of the world. Varian is managing to top Hellscream on assholery since he's not even taking the lebensraum angle on a stupid second front. He just really wants to kill the Horde.

If he was I believe my rogue would have to kill him for being a blight upon the Blood Elf society. Just give me back Thrall. You know whats interesting the Blood Elf faction leaders really don't do much, or well anything. Do they have any stance besides being friends with Sylvanius, which is odd considering the state of Silvermoon.

Well the belfs are now sort of taking a counter role to the Dwarfs in archy and are fighting in many spots in the world that seems to be their role now. Tauren and Draenei seem to be the "spiritual race" the don't do much except have towns here and there.

The fact of the matter is that Garrosh has done such asinine things as declare all of Kalimdor the territory of the Horde. Including, you know, the lands of the Night Elves and Theramore, the two nations without which in WC 3 the Horde would have died when the rest of the world was torched.

As for Varian, well, let's face it; with people like Garrosh in charge (and enjoying enormous popular support from the core demographic of orcs), destroying the Horde doesn't seem like such a bad idea anymore, does it?

Neither Fire nor Arcane have any real threat mitigation to speak of. Fire's weakness is volatility - it's far more dependent on scoring criticals than Arcane. No criticals, no Hot Streaks. No Hot Streaks, mediocre DPS. Conversely, if you happen to get luckier than average in a particular fight, your DPS spikes hilariously.

I haven't done the new low level content, but for the Catacylsm new stuff whenever we deal with Garrosh it involves killing traitors. It seems like every other important orc is a traitor who doesn't respect Garrosh.

[up][up] Nobody has threat mitigation any more, except for those skills like Mirror Image, Invisibility, Vanish, Feign Death, etc. that are specifically designed for that purpose. But if you are outthreating your tanks on bosses, someone's doing something wrong. You're expected to have threat issues on groups; that's by design. But if tanks can't hold aggro off you on single-target fights, there's a problem that goes well beyond threat reduction.

So if you feel like you have more control over your threat, that's only because you're weaker.
