It's weird how my brain now cannot disassociate Scurrilous from American Gods. by way of explanation... I listened to a lot of the former while reading the latter. They meshed surprisingly well. "THE WANDERING HANDS OF THE GOOOOODS ARE SO GODDAMNED MYSTERIOUS!"
@Zudak - but it's acceptable just for Mind Screw for the sake of Mind Screw purposes, right?
I don't want to offend the mighty Zudak with my own actions. :<
@Sunny: The Amber Spyglass and Savage Garden are forever linked in my head.
I've probably said too much...

Now I've got this image of Robin's secret childhood love affair with Mr. T. - Idler 20Another odd association; I will never be able to listen to Linkin Park without thinking of Stratego.
Not that I ever intentionally listen to Linkin Park these days... but whenever I happen to hear one of their songs, bam, I'm thinking about taking out people's field marshals with my spy.
I reckon my brother probably used to be into them when I used to like playing Stratego with him... or that's my theory, at least
@Sunny: They were a bit...cheesy?
This is the song I associate with the book, especially with the super-romantic realising they're in love scene (which now I feel creepy for liking, because I am now significantly older than the characters >_>).

I was very into being a kid in the 90s. Also I think maybe they were a bit Christian? It was always hard to tell.
I used to think this was the most romantic thing:
EDIT: Re-watching it, all I can think is "Why are you shoving your hands so deep into your own armpits? Was that cool in the 90s?"
