Oh Robin, if you like romance and older movies, I suggest Ninotchka. Yes, it's a romantic comedy (I don't think it's considered screwball, though), but it's a romantic comedy with Communism and it has the wonderful Greta Garbo in it. It's actually pretty clever.

[up] That looks awesome.

Probably not that related, but I've also been meaning to watch His Girl Friday for a while.

It is good. I need more Garbo in my life. I'd like to see His Girl Friday, though it does court the whole "divorced people will totally remarry given the correct circumstances," concept where I never liked.

Arsenic And Old Lace is another good one, though the romance does take a back burner to the main murder plot, but everything is still hilarious in it.

[up] Want to see that too.

But yeah, that "we introduce a couple who are already divorced just so we can remarry them" can get annoying.

One of my teeth hurts, so I've actually been gnawing IRL.

:( Did you take anything, Loid? Maybe you should go to the dentist?

Nah, it happens from time from time. It could be gingivitis or it could just be because my teeth are sensitive.

Does Sleep Research Facility make creepy music?

And also, would this thread be different if it were called The Rubbish Heap?

I didn't think I was dumb enough to enjoy this, but I was.

Alcest is the most amazing thing in the fucking world.

@Imi - the album I'm listening to... well, not really. But what it is is an overwhelmingly cold album. Very cold. It's called Deep Frieze.

He has other stuff though... like Nostromo which is an ambient concept album about the ship from Alien, and is as unsettling as you'd expect

Wow, it's sad the first thing that popped into my mind reading "Alcest" was not the music project, but thinking it was a term for some incest based pairing in a fandom.
