If genius and horny were mutually exclusive, would that mean asexuals were naturally 8rainiacs?

(And yes, joking.)

Y'know, I fail to see the grossness of blue waffle.

I looked at it, in fact, I searched for as many images as I could find, trying to find one gross image. I thought maybe I was looking at the wrong one, but nope, I looked at all the ones that I could find that were actually of the disease, and none of it was scary.

And this is coming from the guy who had to stay outside of a butterfly cage once because he has a huge phobia of butterflies.

I'm starting to think I'm only scared of shit that isn't scary.

Usually here.

People wanting to constantly bend rules instead of following them, generally inviting bad drama by default. To be honest, I feel like I should never bother to follow rules anymore since nobody else will.

I'm just having a very fucking bad day. Yeah, why bother helping people, right? They clearly would rather makes things worse or allow bad things to happen. It's pointless...

Helping people? I realized a long time ago that that's often useless. Hence I have low expectations for it.

Don't bother helping people in Red Dead Redemption if you want a happy ending.

Seeing all these piss ant tropers trying to talk tough makes me laugh. If Matrix were here, he'd laugh too.

@Imi: Good point. They all act like they don't need it even if they clearly do. All I wanted was to stop future drama from happening.(and all of that happened from those issues I brought up) As usual, it was a waste of my time.

I don't think it's bad to try to help people, but realize that there's a good chance your efforts will do little or no good.

Hmm... perhaps you aren't tackling it from the proper angle then.

No. I'm doing it fine. The problem is, everybody refuses to actually think my points are valid, no matter how I represent them. But that's just how it is. And nada I can do about it.

Perhaps because you aren't appealing to your audience in a proper manner. Granted, you won't be able to talk to everyone but there's still a large body of people that you can speak to in a manner that's convincing and helpful.

No, I talked to nearly them all. Nothing of what I said would've mattered, since I made my points clear, precise, and exactly what I was advocating against: Bad Drama That Ruins the Roleplay by itself.

They made it clear they were fine with that. Their only reason being "well, it hasn't happened recently, so..."

I'm surprised the rule wasn't made when the problems were caused, but there's literally nothing I can do to prove it to be a problem. That's only why I gave up. I had no chance to do anything more.

And before you say it, I did not give up before I started, or did not give up early. I kept going till it was clear nobody will take my side. The only person to actually take my side doesn't even roleplay in that game, ironically enough.

So then, is Bad Drama actually a problem?

Yes. It's always been in that roleplay, consistently pissing people off. No matter who caused it. It has caused near Flame Wars, almost a lot of bumps, and thankfully no bans.

...One almost got banned for general portrayal of Women so inappropriately, that most porn looks more respectable.(sadly, I'm serious) But I'm not for gravedancing, so unless you want actual details... PM only.

Anyway, one major case was Writer on Board, that was basically a personification of it that was used to complain about the person's problems with the game. Other smaller cases have happened.

So my main reason is to prevent this kind of stuff from ever happening again. One clear note, is that one said that it could just be done as a Parody Retcon to stop the problem and say it doesn't exist for real. My problem with that is that it also is kind of a poor attempt to amend things, and does not solve any issues, but puts a bandaid on it, asking for forgiveness for a mistake.

I think one thing should be noted; Writer on Board is not the same as bringing in a fun character that is Real Life Writes the Plot. The key difference being that WOB is purely negative and causes drama while the second could cause either, but it also has a positive reaction that is generally interesting.
