Posing practice
◊. I cheated on all of them. First one, I just wanted to draw myself in my default pose (which apparently makes me look sad or sleepy). For the dancer, I worked on proportions. The lady on the right is a practice in wrinkles, Hartman Hips, and fluidity in standing poses.
One of these days I shall take more than fifteen minutes to draw something.
Edit: I should do a height chart.

Alien pupa.
◊ I really, really dislike how it turned out, but it took a long time, so that makes it worth sharing anyway.
Nothing too inspired, I think I came up with it after watching Silence of the Lambs (pupae) and the Super Mario Bros movie (spikes, spikes, everywhere) in quick succession.
Also, this reference.

whoever wrote this shit needs to step on a rake in a comedic fashionAh, ichor. Well, I imagined the slime to be some kind of protective thing, likely poisonous, that the creature generates in its juvenile phase.
whoever wrote this shit needs to step on a rake in a comedic fashionSo, just kinda binged this thread, and just wanted Spacey to know that I love her work quite a bit.
The rest of you are good too, but Spacey. Spacey. Excellent.
And now that I continue to have nothing constructive to say, I'll just leave.
"I can't imagine what Hell will have in store, but I know when I'm there, I won't wander anymore."Thank you. I really should draw more; I've been too lax about practicing lately. I think it shows, but what do I know?
whoever wrote this shit needs to step on a rake in a comedic fashion^ Ooh, I really like those! The only thing I would suggest is to make sure the eye sizes are correct. I noticed that one tended to be smaller or larger than it should be, while the other eye would be about right.
I'm especially impressed with your noses...I almost always default to anime-style "Let's just draw a line or two dots for the shadow and hope the audience doesn't care" noses.
Tumblr here.Last night while I was extremely hammered, my friends and I decided we should get more tattoos today. I remembered a tattoo design I had sketched out my senior year in high school, and decided that instead of sleeping like one would be expected to do after a month of hardly any sleep in a high-stress environment, I got on my computer and inked and colored the design. It took about 9 hours of work from start to finish.
"True story, I came when I read Scrye's story, and so did everyone within five miles." —OOZE^^Got it on my back.

I keep drawing on lined paper
for reasons I don't understand. I could use the excuse that I draw mostly at school, but I drew this one at home, so there goes that. Sorry for the nose copout, y'all.

Someone, somewhere commented that fictional characters sleeping are often cute. So, later, idly doodling, I tried to avert that trope. My character Aubrey may not look as terrible as he thinks, but he is decidedly un-cute. And fire is not cute at all, but dangerous (and I can't draw it, hence the label—it doesn't look like fire).
Cigarette holder + scarf = bad idea.
