Okay, problem solved for now.
There more technical sketches can be found here.
One that is not,◊ another illustration of someone from my writing.
Krrackknut: The first one looks good, but I wonder why you added some Greek and Roman elements. The second set doesn't look quite done, and it's extremely busy—but you can definitely pull it off in a finished sketch. For the third one, the Aang elements aren't too obvious at all as there are only so many ways one can design a staff with wing designs. However, the level of detail is rather too much for the sketch, like in the second one.
harmattane: Wow, that character is beautiful. The only problem I can see is her left forearm and calf, which are twisting in rather unnatural ways. I mean, it's still possible, but someone in real life wouldn't look so nonchalant about it. xD

Today's update is pretty small - It's just a simple character portrait from a story premise I posted on the WB forum not too long ago, and will developing.
Meet Laurie Donnelly, the girl who created a world.◊
Don't let her default expression of blank disinterest fool you, she's more interesting than she seems.
Sapphire's design will be done soon.
Created a world, eh? I wonder what stories she might have to tell.
So I uh...worked on my shading. On lined paper. -.- I...don't actually know how I did this. And I messed up on the ear. Poor, misshapen ear.
GOOD GOD WHAT IS THAT THING AHAHHHHHHHH
Honestly, it's not that bad. The shading shows off the details quite well and the picture is quite nice. I won't question your use of materials, because I know that you use whatever you've got.
Ever have a sudden itch to paint? Happens to me about once a month, lately. :P So I spent some time painting this◊ today. Just wanted to do something cute.
It's cute. The colors are quite nice and the shading's well done.
Crosspost. Since it illustrates the writing project in that thread, I posted it there. Yeah, too small. I explain.
Might as well put this up [1]
Based on Goggle Fox user page
Uximata, that fox is fantastic. Looking at your other stuff, I have to say that your Darwin is also beautiful.
Another crosspost; just click the link. And I still paint too small.
Thank you, J Bridge, glad you like it. I should have done something more with the Darwin one... Procrastination wins :P
harmattane, that's pretty cool.
Your input would be greatly appreciated.
I forgot to mention when you first sent it to my PM box, uximata, but thanks! It's cute ^.^ I feel kinda bad for not replying to that message back then.
^^ AC, you seem to have a good grasp of perspective and posing; other than the low detail (which, I understand, often used as a staple in manga/anime-style artwork) and one or two off-model characters (I can elaborate if you'd like), it's a good job.
A bit of concept art for the as-of-unrenamed Obake project.◊ I also came up with paragraphs upon paragraphs of tech fluff suggestions, but they're not as cool to look at.
v Thanks.

Hey look, I drew a centaur! I hope you enjoy.

A reverse-centaur of sorts. Very cool. I don't think I've ever seen something like that before.
Dream Dress: Meaning I actually had a dream about this dress.
White Dress: More fashion.
Concept art of a mermaid: With a dolphin tail, not a fish tail.
Portrait of my sister: Working on highlights for black hair.
Portrait of a random character: Working on highlights for light, really wavy hair, as well as lipstick.

Okay, more stuff that isn't recent that I never planned to show anybody.
A Knoxan Regular
, a sort of Spartan soldier if the entire government was a private military contractor. I tried to make it seem modern, while adding some Greek (the breastplate) and Roman (the helmet) elements.
The Lifesharer
, which is the living reservoir of the World's River. It's supposed to be a bit shocking, what with all the wires and metal connected to his albino body.
Gennady Sunxan
, cyborg-wizard-martial artist-monk. Gennady was based on Triptika/Xuan-Zhang, Zhang Sanfeng, and Aang. His staff, which unfurls wings
. I hope the Aang elements aren't too blatant.
