So I got to thinking about Vivi... And you know what? I think Oda was foreshadowing by having her and Robin debut basically back-to-back. It wasn't timing, or conevenience, or coincidence, and Robin was never meant to be Vivi's "replacement." I think he was hinting that the two will be majorly linked together for the conclusion of the story.
I know it's not a unique theory at all to believe that Vivi's gonna return for the final Saga, arcs, however you wanna say it. But I've seen the naysayers before say "Why? She's not strong enough, so it wouldn't work." Put a pin in the not strong enough for right now, but there's two angles here. In-story... the Straw Hats wouldn't care. They'd be happy to have her. Narrative-wise, there's more at stake then being able to fight.
Robin's goal is to find the True History and share it with the world... How though? The primary goal of the WG putting a bounty on Robin was to capture or kill her, of course; They'd prefer she never read the Poneglyphs at all. But it's also a 22-year long smear campaign. She's the "Devil Child," the last survivor of the devils of Ohara. And frankly, her own choices only help that narrative: She joined a pirate who tried to overthrow a WG country, and then turned right around and joined Straw Hat Luffy, another notorious pirate. So even if she finds and tries to share the "True History," why should anyone believe her?
I think Luffy's "I don't want to be a hero" thing is more foreshadowing, too. He doesn't just not want to be one, he CAN'T be one. Rather, he can help other people who are oppressed to get in a position to be the hero themselves.
Thus, Vivi. Someone FROM the World Goverment, who can vouch for the Straw Hats, and/or get Robin's truth out there for her. Robin and Vivi were always meant to be linked... Robin, finding the truth, and Vivi, to communicate it to the world.
On a minor note, Luffy has always said he wants about/at least 10 crew members. If Yamato joins, that's 10... So of course, he'll end with 11. Vivi!
...Oh, and the pin in Vivi "not being strong enough." We did see her trying to puzzle out the 3D2Y. Who's to say she didn't eventually realize what it meant?
Tbh, I kinda have my doubts on if Yamato will actually join. It's practically a rule that every Straw Hat has a dream, and I honestly don't know what Yamato's would be. He already has his freedom with Kaido's defeat.
Also don't know what role on the ship Yamato woudl have, but that's a more minor thing since there's precendence with that due to Zoro (albeit due to Zoro being the first recruit)
That's fair.

@diddyknux Vivi's not that weak. The first thing we saw her do post-timeskip was jump down from a crows nest and land on the deck perfectly fine.
...I just thought of something. What if Yamato fights Weevil? Both have Odaboxes introducing them as "self-styled" Oden/Whitebeard, and they're both the son of an Emperor and are extremely strong. Hmm.

Oh, I'm not one of the ones who thinks Vivi is weak. In fact, I had a half-baked theory that at the end of Alabasta, when we have that scene where Vivi starts to talk about Kobra about her plan to see off the Straw Hats but then we cut away, that the actual conversation went "I know I have to fulfill my duties and rebuild this country, so I've chosen to stay... For now. But some day, I want to join them again." and that she's actually been training ever since. Though, I think the idea of her figuring out what the Straw Hats were up to after the Paramount War is more likely.

...Holy shit, what if Vivi is the one who gets an eyepatch?! Oda said he was saving it for a special person...
So on my MP 3 player, Super Powers came up, and I got to thinking: Wow, there's only one more opening left begore the English dub reaches Wanom. The next volume of Eng dub episodes drops on July 12, so I got curious and checked... Once it does, the dub will only be 60 episodes away from Wano.
The English dub came back from its hiatus in April of 2020. So, assuming it sticks to the one volume per month pattern (even if it has to skip a month for Film Red), that'll be just under 3 years to get from Punk Hazard to Wano.
That hiatus sucked an we should never pretend it didn't... But goddammit, they've done as much (and probably more) as could be reasonably done to make up for it.
...Well, Toei definitely has a hand in it. Not just co-financing, but I'm sure they had a say in Funimation having to pick up the pace. Still, whatever the reason, it's what happened.

Anyone know if Cipher Pol 9 has a soundtrack specific or associated with them?
Pantheon server for all who click here. Lost too much money and time, this coaster ain’t stopping. So something hit me like a bolt from the blue about why the WG takes Buggy so seriously despite his obvious ridiculousness. We know thanks to the Oden flashback that Buggy never actually disembarked at Laugh Tale or saw the treasure due to a conveniently timed illness. Thing is… the government has no way of knowing that. So they’re presumably operating under the assumption that Buggy knows what the One Piece is and how to get it, and could spill the beans at any time!
I can't remember if it was ever shared here, but last August, the rapper for the 4kids One Piece opening put out his take on an expanded opening
that includes all the crew through Jinbe, and even uses the Japanese pronunciation of "Zoro".
It takes quite a different sound from the original though, so last December, another youtuber attempted to mix the two together to better match the sound of the original.
