Yeah, I was looking for him, too. Spotted Oden, Kiku, Yamato, Denjiro, and Kawamatsu, but no Kin'emon.

At the very least I'm glad Momo isn't in the top 100 though amusingly his dad and sister are.

Also hey Reiju is the only Vinsmoke in the 100.

And ha that old man's name is Woop Slap, holy shit what a name. [lol]

Momo is doing pretty well in Wano, I've warmed up a lot to the little boy

Also, damn, Oden is "only" 22? [lol]

A lot of surprisingly high characters who debuted recently.

I bet that when the poll ends, Oden's going to be ranked much higher because of all the anime-onlies watching his backstory right now.

The poll doesn’t even have everyone. Like, the Alabasta Suicidal Dumbass Brigade and characters that don’t even speak are there, but not Giant Squad or (as Pushover mentioned a ways back) the recurring pod of Sea Kings, who have some actual plot relevance.

The pig of Hufflepuff pulsed like a large bullfrog. Dumbledore smiled at it, and placed his hand on its head: "You are Hagrid now."

What's your favorite reveal/sequence of reveals Oda has ever done? For me, it has to be the way he handled introducing Vivre Cards.

  • Ace gives Luffy a random, unmarked piece of paper in Alabasta.

  • In Thriller Bark, Lola gives Nami a Vivre Card of her mom. She also explains what Vivre Cards are in the process, which reveals what that piece of paper Ace gave Luffy all the way back in Alabasta was.

  • In Whole Cake Island, we learn that Lola's mom is Big Mom herself, and the Vivre Card she gave to Nami is Big Mom's Vivre Card, which then becomes a plot point for Nami.

That is such an amazing set of reveals. Set up something around chapter 180, then reveal what that thing was around chapter 450 while in the process of setting up ANOTHER reveal around chapter 830! That's master-class worldbuilding and foreshadowing, using exposition of a piece of foreshadowing as ITS OWN piece of foreshadowing.

Kaido being a dragon is in second place, though, that one is also phenominal.

One of the most dramatic reveals was Ace's execution announcement, and the way Sengoku revealed to the entire world that Ace was actually Gol D. Roger's biological son.

Disgusted, but not surprised

Yeah, Raizo actually being there was a fantastic one, too, even if it didn't have a literal decade of foreshadowing like the Vivre Card one did.

  • "Raizo isn't here!"

  • "No, seriously, Raizo isn't here, we don't know who that is!"

  • "We're telling you, he's not here!"

  • "How were we supposed to bring them a person who isn't even here?"

  • "Raizo is alive and well."

One of my favorite reveals (and one of my favorite moments in the series) is the reveal of what Duval looks like under his mask.

There's also the casual reveal of the true nature of Kaido's fruit. So many people freaked out over Kaido being Magikarp.

Sorry to change topics again, but it keeps hitting me that we're near the end of the series. I hope the final chapter is called "Decks of the World, Epilogue Edition" and every single page is formatted like a cover page showing what every character is doing now.

Crazy big-brain prediction: Caesar blowing all of Big Mom's money on hookers and booze will be a plot point.

  • Caesar used Big Mom's money on hookers and booze because he figured making people grow giant on a whim was impossible.

  • This means that said hookers were allowed access onto Punk Hazard, inside Caesar's laboratory.

  • Stussy is the underworld queen of the "pleasure district" aka: hookers.

  • Stussy is a member of CP0.

CP0 had access to Caesar's laboratory anytime they wanted.

Sanji turning Pudding offer the 1st and him telling her eye is beautiful.

I still get tears from the 2nd because someone telling you that you are beautiful or handsome when you never heard from anyone else not even your own mother is harsh but happens.

Duval's face is the funniest, though I'm fond of the long game reveals like Brook's connection to Laboon or the debut of Rayleigh.

In Brook's and Laboon's case, I like the touch of the ones who learn about it first being Robin and Franky, who have no connection to Laboon. They themselves are then floored upon the others revealing they know exactly the whale Brook was talking about.

For Rayleigh, it's the fact that he is exactly the same character you see in Buggy's flashback way back in volume 2 or 3.
