I never thought about it that way, but they do seem similar from what we know about them, and Z says they all joined at the same time too.

I like works that can make me feel for minor characters. Like, I feel really bad for Frankenstein Marine; he looks so happy to have joined, but we know he's ultimately not only killed at Marineford, but zombified by Moriah.

What do you mean by that? Number of fangirls? Plot hax? Jobbing?

Probably a little bit of all of that, though mostly plot hax. And honestly, I don't think he's coming nearly close to Itachi's level yet. He's just with the heroes right now, so he seems worse, but he hasn't done enough yet to reach Itachi's state of brokenness (which is saying something, since Law's already pretty OP).

Man, Z's story is sad. He's like Tosen only not a douchebag.

It's made a million times sadder by the ocean's guide song.

I actually really want to see Z once it comes out. I generally don't care for the movies, even Strong World was kind of meh for me.

Z's basically One Piece's Sweeney Todd, as I understand it. "THEY AAAAAAAAAAALLLL DESEEEEEEEEEEERVE TO DIIIIIIIIIEEEEE!"

...that actually got me sincerely thinking that the Kaido arc will be Chopper's long-awaited time to shine. Who knows how to deal with animals, right?

• cough* so yes, Chopper. As I said, my faith in Oda is battling my noticing of unfortunate trends in his writing over whether greatness or eternal Yamchahood is in his future.

Kaidou will admire Chopper to the extent where he kidnaps him and holds him hostage for 300+ chapters. Law replaces Chopper everyone rages. 301 chapters later Chopper escapes after kicking Kaidou's ass and kicks Law's ass for the spot of best doctor for the alliance. Then he will get a new bounty poster and his name will be simply Kickass with the infinite symbol for the prize reward.

Also no more Kung fu point, Chopper has awakened his Zoan!
