There's another Callback in "200" where Carter, Teal'c and Daniel trick Mitchell into thinking O'Neill is his dad and fathered him during the 1969 time travel thing.
- Lt. Col. Mitchell: I'm pretty sure I have read all the reports recently.
- Lt. Col. Carter: Actually you haven't read 30185.
- Lt. Col. Mitchell: 30185? ... What's that?
- Dr. Jackson: We can't tell you.
- Lt. Col. Mitchell: What do you mean you can't tell me? I have the highest security clearance known to mankind! What–what is 30185?
- Lt. Col. Carter: We were sworn to secrecy.
- Lt. Col. Mitchell: Well, why even mention it to me if you're not going to tell me what it is?
- Lt. Col.Carter: Sorry.
- Vala: Can you tell me?
- Dr. Jackson: Oh yeah, we can tell you.
- Lt. Col. Carter: Well, it has to do with the time that the gate sent us back to 1969.
- Lt. Col. Mitchell: Well, that can't have anything to do with me, I wasn't born 'til a year later.
- Dr. Jackson: Actually, it was nine months before he was born.
- Lt. Col. Mitchell: What?
- Lt. Col. Carter: You have to remember, it was the Sixties...
- Dr. Jackson: C'mon, you have to have known that Jack's always taken an interest in your life.
- Lt. Col. Mitchell: Jack? ...O'Neill?
- Teal'c: Indeed.
- Lt. Col. Carter: Remember when you were chosen for the 302 program even though you didn't think you should get in? How about when you were chosen for SG-1?
- Vala: [laughing] Wait. Are you saying that Jack O'Neill is...
- Lt. Col. Mitchell: ...my daddy?
- Dr. Jackson: All starting to make sense now, isn't it?
- Lt. Col. Mitchell: Awww, I'm being Punk'd, aren't I?

I take it back, "200" is mankind's greatest achievement.

It's not over. Not yet.
EDIT: Agreed. 200 was AWESOME. Also, in hindsight, this clip looks awefully close to SGU.
Lets see, non-time travel Alternate reality episodes where main cast members die
- SG 1:
- Season 1: There But for the Grace of God
- Season 3: Point of View
- Season 4: Double Jeopardy (Not an actual alternate reality, but robot duplicates. Same thing). Absolute Power (Technically a dream)
- Season 6: The Changeling: Just a dream, and no one dies permanently.
- Season 8: Avatar (Computer simulation)
- Season9: Ripple Effects
- Seaons 10: The Road Not Taken.
- Atlantis:
- Season 4: This Mortal Coil (Nanite Duplicates)
- Season 5: The Daedalus Variations, Vegas

Say 19. Fairly okay. Is this going to be the last episode coming up or did they get 26 episodes?
Fight smart, not fair.I think this season was an improvement. Less Drama bullshit more space battles.
Fight smart, not fair.I'm under the impression that when they decide to cancel a show, the actors get a lot more freedom and the writing improves so that the writers can put it on their resume.
Fight smart, not fair.So I just saw the episode where it turns out Telford is a sleeper agent.
Firstly, freakin' awesome to see O'Neill and Jackson in action. "Corporal?"
Secondly, why haven't they spaced Wray yet? "DUHHHH CIVILIANS ARE TEH AWESUM SCREW THE MILITARYS!!!"
Thirdly, I don't see how the Alliance personnel managed to integrate them so well with the Earth crew. In Voyager it made sense, the Maquis were freedom fighters and many were formerly part of Starfleet, the Alliance just seem to be ruthless murderers.
It's not over. Not yet.So, the "Alliance invades Destiny" episode. Pretty good. Two things:
1. Why haven't they spaced Wray yet? The Military vs. Civilian rivalry is so pointless it makes my head hurt.
2. Has Chloe ever been anything other than The Load?
It's not over. Not yet.Well, the rivalry is mostly-non existent now (there's never going to be another mutiny), but they keep shoving Wray in our faces even though she's next to worthless. There's a scene where Wray's trying to negotiate with Kiva, Kiva doesn't understand why she's talking to her, and Wray says:
"In our society the military is subservient to civilian leadership."
Telford's eye roll perfectly summed up my thoughts.

didn't need to know that.
Also, Wray is not useless. She is the next best thing to a Therapist the Crew has and so to speak the Liaison to the Civilians. Unlike or all-loved Doctor Rush she can actually talk with almost every Civilian on board without problems. Moreover she's , at least moderatly, skilled Diplomat which might come in handy if Destiny one Day meets a species which doesn't immediatly decides to shoot at them.
Her major problem was that throughout Season 1 up until the mutiny she seemes to think that a Concept that goes for a whole Society (Civilian Oversight) is applicable to a small group of people on a constant state of emergency. If this was jerkassery or simply a need to take control over her situation build out of a primal fear is, of course, Your Mileage May Vary ;) This trait of her annoyed the hell of me too, but after a solid round of Character Development I started to like the Character.
"You can reply to this Message!"

Ghilz, there were at least two alternate reality episodes in the first three seasons of SG-1. It's the same concept, really: canon is different in some way, multiple versions of the main characters that can be killed off, etc.
And not to say all time travel episodes are bad, quite a number of them are good. 1969 is fantastic. There's a hilarious Call-Back to it in the Sixth Season. Teal'c and Jonas Quinn are driving somewhere. Jonas is a bit confused as to how he knows how to drive.
Tealc: "Daniel Jackson taught me, I believe the year was 1969."
Jonas: O_o
