Maybe, maybe not. At least in theory we're the Periphery Demographic. The majority of the players will be too young to remember the earlier games.

That's Feo . . . He's a disgusting, mysoginistic, paedophilic asshat who moonlights as a shitty writer—Something AwfulI dunno. I think Kirby's always been a kind of "all ages" series, even if it is a bit on the easier side. Well. Some of them. Hello, Extra Mode! So good to see you again!
"Proto-Indo-European makes the damnedest words related. It's great. It's the Kevin Bacon of etymology." ~Madrugada^ You talkin' about the Extra mode from Squeak Squad? 'Cause that was just a Time Attack.
I have a message from another time...I really don't have a clue how anybody can 100% Canvas Curse. That game is hard.

So it's official then. No copy abilities, and no inhaling. Kinda sad to see Kirby's trademark gone, but I think it's more than made up for by the unique art style.
Awesomely random and randomly awesome. My anime list.Just because it's different doesn't mean it will automatically suck. Again, I bring up the case of Canvas Curse, which was wickedly different and also wickedly awesome.

Escape.I'm not too liking the seeming lack of copy abilities, as even Canvas Curse and Kirbys Dream Course has it, but I'm still quite looking forward to this game and I think it'll likely be very good.
Helpful Scripts and Stylesheets here.Have you guys ever tried going through some of the Kirby games with nothing but the suck and spit? It's actually quite enjoyable all on its own. Gets better with the multiple tosses of the grappling abilities, but generally, the only downside is not being able to move fast with an enemy in your mouth, though this game looks like Kirby retains his ability to move quite effectively.
The emotions of others can seem like such well guarded mysteries, people 8egin to 8elieve that's how their own emotions should 8e treated. From the trailer alone, I'd say it's definitely not being billed as a traditional Kirby game.
And I went through 64 with mostly just the suck, spit, and enemy hold + throw abilities. I only brought in others where necessary. Pretty fun.
"Proto-Indo-European makes the damnedest words related. It's great. It's the Kevin Bacon of etymology." ~MadrugadaThat still doesn't mean every single Kirby player wants to play that way. It's like playing through Mega Man without using any of the weapons - yes, a lot of people do it, and I still think every single one is missing the entire point of the game.
WHO IS THIS LOSERCall me crazy, but I'd actually want to play the game before slipping into Fan Dumb Territory.

Maybe it's all an acid trip.
