Well, I've started watching the Ask Alexis
Q&A series... and Episode 2 made me wonder if she's not as dumb as she seems, if only because she made a startingly good point when answering the "How many sides does a triangle have?" with (and I paraphrase) "Most people would say 'three', but it actually has two more sides: the top and the bottom" (which is actually true... for triangles projected in 3-dimensional space as flat objects).
Also, I laughed when Alexis admitted that Syrus' main appeal to her as a boyfriend is him having a huge penis. Now Abridged!Krillin has a kindred spirit.
EDIT: Episode 9. One of the questions: "Hey Alexis, Spill it! You are smarter then you let on! How do you explain yourself!?" (sic)
Alexis' response? "KUMQUAT!" It appears that she is indeed Obfuscating Stupidity.

Fiat iustitia, et pereat mundus.Ok I have being out for a long time so I have two question.
do they finally got into the dartz battle? and does little kuriboth finally saw the kaibaman episode?
Becuase let be honest, that episode finally reveal that abridged kaiba IS canon kaiba.
"My Name is Bolt, Bolt Crank and I dont care if you believe or not"Dartz episode was one of the best IMO and he's yet to see Kaibaman, but I am looking forward to it.
I love his reviews of YGX.
Improving as an author, one video at a time.I still think it's amazing how, when he did the Ebonics version of the first episode, and Yugi answers Kaiba's phone call with "Yo! Game shop!", Martin just breaks down laughing and exclaims "He just becomes Jaden!"
The powerful play goes on, and you may contribute a verse.I feel like the weirdest part of that is that they act like it's impossible to always know what card comes next, even without magic or something. Like, just memorize the order you put the cards in and keep track of how many you've drawn.
Seeing how this game is everything in their world you'd think everyone who was serious would be doing that. Or at least the super serious types.

Maybe I’m wrong, but I feel like know what order your cards are in is kind of cheating? I mean, you shuffle your deck for a reason.

Honestly it's not even the Tarzan thing (Not alone). Its how... disjointed and farfetched everything is.
Like on its own, I'd go "Sure, there's a dueling Tarzan guy, makes sense. I mean, Mako Tsunami is a Creepy Fish version of that.
But like, the sandwhich thing along is such a convoluted set up. "Okay, so the school has this day where this lady just wheels in a cart of sandwhiches that are unlabelled and in identical packaging. And all of them are shit except one" That already feels like it's the most contrived shit ever and raises SO MANY QUESTIONS (Like, WHY?!!!???!!!). But no. It keeps going. "And the one good sandwhich is made from a magical golden egg". None this actually ever matters when you get down to it.
And then "But there's a guy who is stealing the one good sandwhich!" Which is already just... like... weird coz it could just be any student taking a sandwhich and just not opening it in front of the old lady. But no. Clearly someone's stealing them
And then "The thief is a Tarzan! But actually he's a former student that's gone AWOL and apparently no one has cared about that in a school". Like, it couldn't just be another student. No.
And then the guy's paper thing, nonsensical contrived backstory that's trying to link all of this togheter and I'm like going "God... remember what this was about ancient egyptian magic and pharaoh's spirits and down to earth shit like that multimillionaire's feud with a kid possessed by a 5000 year old dead man?
It feels like the kind of script a RNG would generate by patching random one word story blurbs togheter.

Shuffling is obviously an important part of Yugioh, but for any competitive TCG players should memorize their decklist and know the odds of drawing a given cards based on the number of cards left and the number of copies of that card available.
So like, getting better at drawing is definitely a thing. It's just called deckbuilding, which Yugioh doesnt touch because it's not as dramatic.
Well yeah, I know that - hell, I've done it, if only for fun. Obviously, you should know and plan what cards are in your deck. But I was more talking about how actually knowing what order your cards are in is...well, cheating.
Oh God! Natural light!

Is Yu-Gi-Oh! GX: The Abridged Series on-topic for this thread?
