I heard some disliked that comic making it canon that Su straight up adopted Kuvira instead of Kuvira simply being 'like' a daughter. Namely because it did create a Continuity snarl or 2.
I do actually like the idea. But I do wish it was something established in the actual show instead of being a retcon-ish thing in a comic.

It also makes Kuvira getting engaged to Bataar Jr. a bit weird in hindsight.
