"That would be preferable to-" Brother Patrick
"Enough... we'll keep the eyesore for now, and knock it down to rebuild after the wounded are treated. We don't want dust affecting anyones chances of survival." Colonel Roxanne
EDIT: (The colonel smiles wryly)
"Full bill for the repair will, of course, be sent to the paladins head office."

The term "Great Man" is disturbingly interchangeable with "mass murderer" in history books."The only thing that matters at this point. Getting your retinue to Trell alive. We're here to inform you that the Rhegian militia will be escorting the diplomatic party from this moment on. We are to leave as soon as you feel ready to continue." Colonel Roxanne
The term "Great Man" is disturbingly interchangeable with "mass murderer" in history books. The patchwork beast tracked the magic back to a particular town, in a particular church, the magic that knocked a golem of such grandeur. It work think purple clothing, it's twisted face covered by a veil thrown over it face, tented by a single horn jutting from the side, everything completely covered. The only thing still seen was the fact that that beast was eight feet tall, towering over any guards at the entrance of the town. He wondered if he would be denied entrance but lacking any of that he would head straight for the chapel of light.
"Uh... commander, I think a giant is approaching!" Guard
"Don't be so rude, he's clearly got a growth issue. Let him through!" Captain
"Captain I'm telling you, there's something..."
"Oh, Gods above, such manners! I'm telling you, mega-phobia will not be tolerated! Not while I'm on watch!"
(To giant)
"Come right in my good friend! I apologies for my subordinate here! Open the gates!"
(The city gates open.)

The term "Great Man" is disturbingly interchangeable with "mass murderer" in history books.(However, as the creature walks through the gate, the (possibly) more sensible citizens scream in panic and start running in all directions. One woman goes into hysterics screaming "GIAAAAAANT... GIIIIIIAAAAAAAAAAAANT!!!")

The term "Great Man" is disturbingly interchangeable with "mass murderer" in history books.Very last post before I go on holiday on Tv tropes, so someone will have to take over my character and the current plotline for a week.
If you won't let us to the front lines, at least let us fight! Mostrues magic and my bow will at least offer support! We're strong enough for that!

The term "Great Man" is disturbingly interchangeable with "mass murderer" in history books.-The Black Bludgeon, having taken a different path than the eight-footer, grabs a random screamer and hoists him up to eye level. The man instantly shuts up, and points a trembling arm in the direction of the temple. When gently put down, he continues trembling until his body's instinct finally defeats his fear, and heads for a bar.-
-The Black Bludgeon heads for the temple.-

-The door again reforms to fit the architecture of the rest of the building, just larger-
"Presumably His Majesty thought that favours would not be penalised. Nor that Atrellia did not possess stable stairs. Or would you prefer rubble in a holy place? If you wish, I can undo it again and this line of conversation can be dropped..."
-she begins to raise the staff, expression blank-
"He could not know it. For it was not all a joke."
