Bewitching EyesThey likely used him as inspiration just like current Persona games crib on ideas and things mentioned in P2 and P1, because his JP VA passed away three years ago.
Plus Zenkichi is sillier and gets to participate in comedy. While Dojima is a drunk.
But man imagine if Nanako was a Phantom Thief fan girl no longer dealing with her dads bad parenting.

Every accusation by the GOP is ALWAYS a confession.![]()
not... Really ? The resemblance stops at mere superficiality. Zenkichi and dojima are nothing alike personality wise.
Dojima's always serious and tries to be earnest most of the time but can sometimes be brash and impulsive and only really let's go when drunk , while Zenkichi is far more carefree, has a bit of troll in him, and is far more emotional than dojima ever was, as seen with how he absolutely freaks out when discovering the métaverse. That's honestly missing the entire character to think he's dojima just because he's a cop with a daughter.
Also the idea that the plot is written for p4 characters specifically when most of the plot deliberately retreads the same arcs as the original P5 is ridiculous.

That's more a case of them revisiting certain ideas, like Ann was revisiting ideas used for Lisa. The role wouldn't have made much sense for Dojima because he's a small-town cop with no way to get involved with a larger conspiracy, and I doubt they would want to write a scenario where you have to fight Nanako.
I am convinced that the Sapporo arc was the writers going 'let's fix everything that was wrong with Okumura's Palace'
because they are so similar
Bewitching EyesWouldn't mind a re-remake of P2 that has both stories in one translated package. Rather absurd that you need a PS 1 and PSP to get the whole story in English.
Plus it might give ATLUS a chance for some Call Forwards to 3-5.
Persona 1's night queen quest if remade could have the eye of Moon-Nyx being in the backgorund for the final boss as a hint....
Watch SymphogearGiven that 4 and 5 are pretty popular nowadays, a new version of any/all of the older games would be nice. At the very least an official port (and translation) to a modern console.
I've recently been playing Persona 4 Golden on Steam port, and I'm really enjoying it. On my second playthrough, may try and 100% it. Though that Rise achievement... Might try and see what those spinoffs are all about, though going onto 5 may be the more logical option.
To summarize the spinoffs
- Arena duology is a frighting game Bat Family Crossover between 3 and 4 and a sequel to both.
- Q series is likewise a Bat Family Crossover, but this time in the style of Etrian Oddessy (not the first time a MegaTen game did that BTW) and the 2nd game trades English voice acting for adding in the Phantom Thieves.
- Dancing All Night is about Yu and Rise helping a different idol group with their issues. Star and Moon focus in 5 and 4's cast but has more of an Excuse Plot.
- Strikers is...a sequel to 5, and also a Musou style game.
All of those except for Q should be on Steam.

It really doesn't. The map fills itself in as you journey through the dungeon, while Etrian Odyssey requires a bit more manual work.
So, I’m thinking I’ll watch Persona 5’s anime adaptation before playing Strikers. I’ve heard it’s not the best adaptation, but the English dub cast seems to do a great job with what I’ve seen, so that should at least make it fun to watch. Besides, I mostly just want to familiarize myself, and it’d take too long to watch a playthrough of the game. If Royal comes out it on a platform I own, I’ll play it there - that way I’ll still have new content to experience.

Oh God! Natural light!so does anyone find it hilarious how in house of the dead the magician is like one of the toughest bosses while the bosses associated with the magician arcana in three and 4 (the magician shadow in 3 and shadow yosuke in 4) are absolute pushovers wone shottedith the magician in 3 not even getting a proper boss fight just getting killed off in a cutscene. Now that I think of it getting the house of the dead bosses as personas would be an interesting dlc idea.

Plus a Strategy RPG has room for more than 10.
But I'm not exactly arguing for the SO or IT to be playable (at least the base game) a few cameos to explain how the EMMA debacle was affecting them and if they could or are fighting back against it would've sufficed.
