But his first response was to kill himself. That’s the key point and why Ann chews him out. His immediate response was that his guilt was about himself first and foremost, and Ann telling him what he should do is what lead him to go to prison for his crimes.
People are not sociopaths just cause of the way they act. They’re just terrible individuals on a personal level. Most sociopaths actually do have a (warped) sense of morality rather, and even they can feel guilt if they don’t stand by their sense of morals.
Every accusation by the GOP is ALWAYS a confession. That's just projecting meaning in an action that can mean plenty of things. You could explain it away by merely being a knee jerk reaction without thinking it over, or on the contrary, the result of such a violent mood swing causing him to land in a cycle of self loathing. P5 is pretty consistent on the fact that just leaving people alone with their guilt does nothing to solve the problem, and that you need to talk to the targets and help them come to terms with their feelings to truly change them, something both scramble and royale double down upon.
The second part of your post just makes pretty clear you are splitting hair at this point. You describe the same phenomenon as I do. I say those people don't qualify as necessarily unable to understand the wrongness of their actions and change if they were given a great enough wake up call(likeliness of this happening notwithstanding) . You say they do. The game disagrees with you. Simple as that.

"when you stare too long into the abyss, Xehanort takes advantage of the distraction to break into your house and steal all your shit."So, would you all reccomend Persona 5 Strikers right now? How's the gameplay and difficulty? I haven't really seen anything beyond some late-game spoilers (thanks to this site) and literally a couple of trailers.
if you like Dynasty warriors games, or at least aren't turned off by the genre, give it a shot, it's really good. If you liked p5, it's more of what made it good, although it retreads a bit too much to capture what made it great, Imo.
Difficulty emulates p5 pretty well. First palace will ruin your shit the longer you keep going, then the rest becomes noticeably easier. It strikes a good spot of "not particularly difficult but still capable of posing a challenge whenever needed", imo.

"when you stare too long into the abyss, Xehanort takes advantage of the distraction to break into your house and steal all your shit."It seems like Omega Force is at their best when they work with other people's I Ps. I mean they made a better adaptation of post golden age of berserk than the anime running at the time
P5D really came out too soon, would have loved to have seen Counterstrike and Daredevil in it
Kinda worth adding a Strikers section to the Awesome Music page
So I impulse bought a copy of Strikers yesterday. Only did the first Jail and man are they longer than expected. Might have to split doing the rest up across multiple play sessions instead of doing them all in one go.
That aside, I enjoyed it for the most part. Providing a disctraction in order to bust down the gate and fighting the Monarch less so than the rest of the game but otherwise I like it.
I can't believe that not only do the Phantom Thieves have to defeat an insane god hellbent on fulfilling the twisted wishes of a populace consumed by sloth twice, but they have to do it twice within the space of a year.
Bewitching Eyes“God” is really giving the second one too much credit. It’s like those cheap knockoffs of Disney movies you can come across. Horrible and distorted heavily the original.
As Morgana says it best, when an actual God gets uppity a Demon Lord comes down to slap their shit. Meanwhile Joker can just shoot demiurge in the head with his normal gun.

Every accusation by the GOP is ALWAYS a confession.Thought: What if the Monarchs were Phantom Thieves
Alice Hiiragi (Muse): Mata Hari -> Mohini -> Marguerite
Ango Natsume (Diablo): Prospero -> Anansi -> Shakespeare
Mariko Hyodo (Frost): Catherine -> Cailleach -> Sophie
Akane Hasegawa (Ghost): Sonia -> Laverna -> Goldenhand
Akira Konoe (Rider): IDK give me some ideas
Bewitching EyesYou're gonna want to get as many healing items as you can before fighting the boss of the Heaven dungeon.
Watch SymphogearThere's something refreshing about Alexa being just some random thing someone made rather than a horrible nasty spooted out by the collective unconscious for the squillionth time.
Bewitching Eyes

It's also entirely disingenuous to say that kamoshida doesn't feel guilt And is really just sorry for himself :this is supported nowhere in the text of the game, and is actively ran against by his confession scene and even his later scene in the prison of regression where he's able to apologize sincerely once called out on his sexist joke.
A broader point that most people are inherently sociopaths also just doesn't hold up. Sure, plenty of people have sociopathic tendencies, but to claim that every person who acts self righteous once on the internet literally cannot feel guilt is baseless conjecture that do not fit with the fact we are able to function as a society despite the unbelievable amount of shit he flings at us.
You also have brought no counterargument that, to some extent, we all live ignoring aspects of life that Don't fit our worldview because the human brain is poorly equipped to process the world a whole, something that is actually well documented.
At this point it feels more like you've got a bone to pick with those people in general than a rational basis for that thesis.
