The idea was necessary because there wasn't a focus on SEES being this inseparable band of buddies like the other two groups were, and it was just 4 members of SEES in the first place because they had the most plausible reason to stick together. That the Shadow Ops because an Elephant in the Room was inevitable really.
Kanji specializes in powerful single target attacks, he's pretty killer against bosses.
Bewitching Eyes... that makes absolutely no sense.
Found a Youtube Channel with political stances you want to share? Hop on over to this page and add them.I think is from the "special" treatment that sin got compared to the other 6. Specifically the trend of Lust being depicted as a way to incite the sin in viewers rather than the character themselves representing it. Alice in this case is a Fashion Designer, which would fit with this idea (IMO, as fashion is usually centered on begin attractive and everything else such as envy, would be secondary side effects of that).
She literally says 'I was jealous of X' in her confession
She fits envy so much better than, for example, Sae does
Bewitching EyesShe got hooked on the high of getting revenge over everything, which she also admits too. Her lust for that high was consuming her reasoning because she didn't even care if they talked behind her backs anymore, she just wanted to lash out at anyone.
Every accusation by the GOP is ALWAYS a confession.Yeah, lust is often associated with sex but it can be a lot more than that since it can also be an intense obsession, something alluded to in parts of Kamoshida's Palace. Still, from what little I know of Alice, it does seem that envy or maybe even wrath may be more fitting.
Edit: Also, greed and gluttony are very close to each other, but I do think the main distinction to look for would be that gluttony leans more towards mindless hedonism, hoarding, and self indulgence to the point of waste versus greed often having an association of scheming and whatnot.

Don't catch you slippin' now. There honestly isnt much room for him in the party, The MC also really fills out the lightning/physical set. Chie and Yukiko's combo attacks are really useful, its hard to set Kanji in the 4th slot over Yousuke's support or the final character which is an all rounder.
Kanji also isnt very good starting out, you don't really have the support to support his massive HP using skills. Chie and Kanji generally are awesome at different break points in their levels with how the skills are learned.

Makes sense, the Seven Deadly Sins as we know them are rather shallow compared to their actually larger and overlapping spheres of influence.

omg the party's reaction to mariko being the queen of sapporo
'What? A corrupt politician? UNTHINKABLE'
like, c'mon guys
Bewitching EyesRE: ATLUS maybe/maybe not having dibs on Sophia:
I mean, Sophia did appear in a piece of artwork alongside Kasumi to celebrate how much P5R and P5S sold,
so I don't see why she wouldn't be allowed to be in other Persona games.
I could theoretically envision seeing her in a hypothetical Persona 5 Arena game. (Obviously, I have zero clue as to whether that's even being considered, but if it does happen, then Sophia meeting Aegis is a MUST. And since I brought it up, now YOU want a Persona 5 Arena too! Don't deny it!)

I would want a Persona 5 Fighter that includes everyone from all the franchise's games. Not just for the Aigis/Sophia interaction, but to see the P2 cast and their personas and bring forth some interesting ideas from EP one being Nyarly as the villain
Plus having a reason to explain why the Shadow Ops sat out both 5 and Strikers and some closure with Elizabeth's plotline would be nice

Technically, P1 also happened in P 2 EP timeline.
I do think that Atlus overshoot with Shadow Operatives introduction. They are the kind of group you would expect to deal with later games plots, but they don't. And, I guess, you can headcanon some explanations (severely understuffed, political games, the villain of the week has powers to prevent them from interfering, etc.), but that also makes this supposedly badass organization into a joke. Especially when you have stuff like blatantly supernatural Phantom Thieves operating in Tokyo for a year and becoming international sensation.
