Dragons dying is tragic in ways I can't imagine anyone would be surprised. They're cool as hell and the greatest tragedy is when they die. That they're so cool is how D&D used it against people in Game of Thrones.
Its part of why 3H CF ending just doesnt work for me based on the gruesome death of a dragon is just the start of how cruel it is before being folloed by the nonsensical.

"when you stare too long into the abyss, Xehanort takes advantage of the distraction to break into your house and steal all your shit."And the scorpions only work to begin with because they decided they would in the show, because it was the only way they could justify Cersei ever being capable of harming them because Dany should have won as soon as she appeared in Westeros.
Like the Ice Zombies at least had supernatural ice power so stabbing a dragon with magic ice an element antithetical to them makes sense.
Those things wouldn't work on novel dragons.
The only time dragons actually get killed is either by Eye Scream, something In Valyria that lives there now and gave a wound so grievous to the biggest baddest living dragon it took decades for him to die from the wound, and other dragons.

50% chance of reflecting phys attacks + high HP regeneration = probably
So after playing P 4 G, Nocturne and IVA, I made athread on Reddit saying what I said earlier on here: you don't have to do everything yourself in Press Turn and that akes it so much more fun.
What I didn't realize until somebody replied with this post was
"P5 was better in this regard. I mean heck look at P 3 P. Only Akihiko had ANY debuffs, in fact he had ALL of them. Pretty much a must have in your party. Then you have Aigis who has ALL the teambuffs, again a must for your party. Uhh.. Jupei is the only team member who has a buff marakakuja ( but no heal ) which means your last slot is going to be yukari or ken... They really fucked up the party skills balance in P 3 P"
How lucky I was that Aigis, Akihiko and Mitsuru were my faves and thus were my main party in FES.
And hats off to P5 for remedying this problem both P3 and P4 shared. Guns are nice but having your party members actuallyable to contribute is better.

And here are the emotional triggers tracked by the site NOT in Persona 5:
I wonder if Persona, or anything in any medium, could check off all of the boxes.
Also, Persona 4 is the only current Persona game that doesn't say that Santa isn't real.
