So it turns out Makoto is a fan of Shojo manga
Weird, you'd think she would like battle manga or Seinen with a focus on Yakuza.
A lazy millennial who's good at what he does. And even in P3, While not as goofy, most of the other teachers in P3 have overall more cartoonish attributes then the ones in P5. Toriumi is basically a somewhat goofier Kawakami, for instance.
Watch SymphogearI will say this for P3's gameplay compared to P4's....
P 4 G losing Physical damage types was kinda dumb because now everything just says "Light/Med/Heavy/Severe" with no clarifications. I read online years ago that the old Piercing moves have higher Crit chance or something? But I don't think the game tells you any of this so you just have to look at two Med physical attacks and figure out on your own which is stronger.
Did P5 restore Physical damage types?
Yeha, P5 just added gun and didn't restored the old physical types, but I feel like it ended up accomplishing the job better than what 3 did, because you can understand the separation between the two a lot more quickly, unlike some physical skills in 3 that leaves you wondering why the attack is of that one type and not another, and your gun being your most reliable source of gun damage gives it a different, clearer niche than just another flavor of physical that has a better chance of critting.
I think it also just severely cut down on the number of physical arts so that you can actually get a sense of escalation through the physical arts. There's still a couple of redundant arts but not to the extent of p4.
"when you stare too long into the abyss, Xehanort takes advantage of the distraction to break into your house and steal all your shit."Just adding gun fits with SJ and SMT 4 that did similar.
The answer is: Yes.

Every accusation by the GOP is ALWAYS a confession.Level 37 against Shadow Mitsuo... Didn't go too well. I made it to the third speech segment on my fourth try so that's good but man, is it a drain on SP. It took forever to get through the second shell, I can't imagine how hard it is to get through the third. I'll have to use up so many items on healing and buffs.
I was trying to find out what level to fight him at and found this
This person beat him in the same amount of time it took me to lose, and at half my level. I guess I'm overleveled.
All I remember about this fight from my first run is he did some instant death bullshit right at the very end. I think Ghastly Wail kills everyone he effected with Evil Touch and he did that or some other insta kill move right at the end and scared the shit out of me. I won but it gave me a heart attack ya know.
The real pain of this fight is his speech segments give him teh chance to automatically reform the shell and then attack you with super moves that I was not prepared for.
This video does confirm though my fears that what you want is Hit/Eva up and Down for this fight more than defense up. I haven't really bothered much with that here because this isn't Press Turn. Dodging attacks doesn't make the enemy lose turns or whatever. Seemed kinda pointless when I could just tank it since "tanking' is 100% guaranteed while evasion is far more iffy.
I suppose the fact he has a pretty good Crit chance and then will immediately follow it up with Megidola (this has killed me twice) is a decent clue that you wanna dodge for this fight.

Yeah, Mitsuo is one of the bits of writing of P4 that has aged really well.
As for defense/dodge and precision, while dodging doesn't make the enemy outright loses turns, it effectively wastes their action entirely in a way defense up doesn't achieve.
Especially on attack with multiple hits that hit several characters, reducing the chance to hit can produce much more potent results than defense up. Not to mention that since you're also buffing your own accuracy, it mildly contridubte to your own damage output.
"when you stare too long into the abyss, Xehanort takes advantage of the distraction to break into your house and steal all your shit."I dunno, Morooka probably did deserve one of his students murdering him which makes Mitsuo more sympathetic and relatable than a lot of what you all are thinking about.
Anyway, I won at Level 37. Raja Naga with Power Charge and Torrent shot, thank you Marie my eternal love. Yukiko was still dead at the end and I did have to fight a second shell but I managed it.
I should probably buy more than two Revival Beads. I only ever buy two, a relic of the days when I had no money. I figured 2 was enough to deal with unpredictable bullshit. But I had to waste a Balm of Life because I was out of them and I feel shitty for that.
I have 1 Assault signal left, gotta hold onto that. Even at this point in the game I'm still doing all the goddamn heavy lifting in terms of buffs and debuffs. It is no less tedious than when I complained about it 20 or 30 hours ago. Oh well....they'll be useful for more than damage and healing someday....probably.
EDIT;
Wait, Mitsuo wasn't one of Morooka's students. Still, I think the point is valid.

Morooka was an asshole, yeah, but the fact mitsuo wasn't in the school and had no particular reason to kill him really highlights how much he just killed him for attention more than any other reason, which doesn't win him any sympathy points from me.
"when you stare too long into the abyss, Xehanort takes advantage of the distraction to break into your house and steal all your shit."So I just made it to the dungeon where the TV Killer is hiding.
I want to finish some of my social links with my party members, but I've heard that immediately after finishing the dungeon there's a time skip. I want to get my ranks with Kanji and Rise up sine I'm dating her and he's rank 9.
So is there a way I can hang out with them and not have them ask me about the dungeon without clearing it first? Before, I just beat it in one day, so it's only a problem now. (Also, is this the last time I can hang out with non-party members?)
