"God, the relationships in 5 are just awful sometimes. You know what's fun, kids? Having sex with your teacher! Or, if that's not for you, how about your doctor instead? But only if they're women, because being gay would be inappropriate."
They've been teasing a relationship with an older woman since P3. And I always found Tanaka's comments on the P3 Protagonist to be...awkward.
I had a long argument with somebody on Reddit who flat out refused to believe Yu can fuck Sayoko (the Devil Arcana nurse in P4) if you choose to return her flirting. Even though it does the usual fade to black, it's so clearly what happened based on her dialogue.
So the stuff with older women has always been there. They just finally stopped beating around teh bush.
Because that would mean Ken and Fe MC fading to black meant that happens as well.

Every accusation by the GOP is ALWAYS a confession.Makoto is the best girl, and it's good that Joker and her are in the same age group.
Maybe i'm in the minority, but i prefer to keep the romance between party members, aside from like the Shogo girl, all the romance options are too old for Joker.
"The Black Rage makes us strong, because we must resist its temptations every day of our lives or be forever damned!"@Asterism: That's an easy mistake given she acts way younger than she actually is.
Ya know, as much as I love Makoto, I can't help but feel the game just kind of railroads you to her a bit.
Don't wanna date an older woman? Then you're down to five contestants: If you Don't wanna date your surrogate sister, Futaba is out. You're likely not gonna have max proficiency to do Haru (Seriously who thought this was a good idea, three years later and I'm still mad).
So now you're down to Ann, Makoto, and Hifumi and that's assuming you don't ship the former with Ryuji.
You see what I mean; Kasumi adds another option fortunately, but it sure is lopsided.

A lazy millennial who's good at what he does. This is all reminding me of the funniest part of Star Ocean 4:
Welch: I'm not just the little sister type, I have glasses on. GLASSES!
I think that sums up Futaba perfectly. This whole gag was mocking otakus and, well, there's a reason Futaba is a very popular ship... A reason identified by a mediocre video game from a decade before P5.

You might need max Proficiency for Haru, but you need max Charm for Makoto
her confidant story is kinda sucky too
The anime was kinda crap, but at least it had the Thieves changing Tsubasa's heart.
Ohya is a lush who has the worst Confidant skill in the game, bar none.

Bewitching EyesI didn't really care much for her character either.
I will always appreciate Amanda Winn Lee's drunk voice though.
Bewitching EyesFutaba really doesn't fit that little sister type. Those are dutiful and more composed than the main character, in recent years they don't wear glasses. Mikan from To Love Ru for example is that.
Futaba is smart but also a smartass. She does not fit the personality type being mocked... she better fits Welch herself.
I personally dont ship the Joker and Futaba, she isnt in any way emotionally ready even after her link is done. Yu and Naoto/Rise in P4 are the same ages respectively and they actually are well adjusted enough by the end of their link to the point it makes sense.
.... yes Futaba, Naoto, Rise, Kanji and Fuuka are all the same age in their story. Futaba is the only one where it really doesn't fit for her to be dating.
I'm actually really glad he did this, because I feel that better than anyone else he captured my overall feelings on the game, both positive and negative, and got to the heart of why despite enjoying the game for the most part, I've been rather down on it and persona as a franchise ever since. Regardless of whether you like P5 or not I think it's worth a read.

The entire main cast is high schoolers. The MC is like what, 15?
