The real meme is PC when
I'm not going to lie, I am very curious on what a Switch port of the Etrian Odyssey series would look like, especially since the games put quite a bit of emphasis on the dual screens of the DS and 3DS for the cartography mechanic.
Is Switch not touchscreen like Wii U
Yes, the Switch has a touchscreen.
Should transition well I would think?
Here's a comparison of returning areas from Persona 5 to Scramble;
I'm thinking of opening up a Spoiler Thread for this game, since it's releasing soon.
The storm has now resided, the wolf now rests. It's not using the touchscreen bit I'm wondering about, it's the dual screen bit. Etrian Odyssey is about using both screens to navigate the labyrinth, with the bottom screen being an ever-present map you make yourself. And the labyrinth floors can get really, really big sometimes, so the map always being on the bottom screen is a godsend.

God, I hope they release Persona 3 and 4 on the switch, having those games on a portable system I actually own would be fantastic.
It also might be interesting if they release the original two Persona games their remastered for the PSP. I've never played them but they sound interesting.
An option to Switch to 1's PSP and original OSTs the way you could in 2 would be nice. Would be a very tidy definitive edition of the game for western fans.
Ha ha P1 and 2 on Switch
Ha ha ha
P 4 G on a switch, on a system that actually sold...
Someone who a guy I follow, well, follows, had a bone to pick with Persona 4 Golden.
Self-serious autistic metalhead who goes by any pronouns. (avvie template source)As long as they offer me the option to play the original PS 2 version as well. Am I the only person who prefers Chie's original voice?
Didn't the lead writer for P1/P2 quit, and that's why those two entries have pretty much been quietly pushed into the corner, out of sight and out of mind?
Yeah the three leads behind OG Persona are either gone or kept in a closet somewhere in the Atlus building.
What is he up to, anyway?
Wake me up at your own risk.Satomi Tadashi released some game I can't remember.
Nothing on Cozy Okada.
Kaneko is resting in the flower field.
The Caligula Effect
I have it but haven’t played it yet
Got an anime and a remake
A remake?
Its not even half a decade old.
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."Early trailer personality: stern, serious, maybe he's a bad guy?
Actual personality: giant doofus
Alternate joke: Local ojisan goes on an unsupervised road trip with a bunch of teenagers
Heart of StoneI should have said updated rerelease
Okay that makes more sense.
Man it must be uncomfortable being the only adult in a team comprised entirely of high schoolers. At least the PT can buy beer now.
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."I'll bet you any amount of money there's at least five "old man" jokes at his expense.
I'm glad he isn't taken anywhere near as seriously as he looks; helps differentiate him from Akechi.
A lazy millennial who's good at what he does.
And the Switch ever-so-slowly continues its inexorable march into the current generation.
