I think I found a good one. I added it to the crowner.

That works. Hopefully others will agree. We need to get this settled.

This is really good. It shows the girl being violent, the protected boyfriend and the threat. And nothing distracts from the action like the snake in the Hancock picture.

The reaction shot of the "boyfriend" as well as the face impact of the bully are what make this image so good. Put it up.

I like the beach bully. It subverts that comic ad, which is a nice bonus. It always bugged me that the girl just ignored he boyfriend in those because he wasn't manly enough!

What's it from?

Just did a google image search. It has no particular source, just normal artwork.

I think when that happens we're supposed to link the image to the website it came from.

[up][up] If it's an artist and not a random image board. We can also post it on the needs source thread and see if someone finds it. I'd rather not link and random site that happens to use it if they weren't the ones that made it. In this case what we should link is http://www.massegraphics.com/. That's the artist's website.

I like it when "links to outside" are in the caption and not from clicking the image (or even in a commented-out note! no need for the attribution to be visible all the time, I don't think); the "link to outside" icon looks funny when it's just floating by the image, IMO.

(E.g. Shooting Superman versus Attack! Attack! Attack!. Unstoppable Rage has the attribution in an invisible comment.)

Dangit, there goes my hopes of getting Hancock on the page. Seriously though, that is a good picture.

If it's from deviantart, shouldn't we ask the artist's permission first?

Wow...this is one of the most lopsided crowners I think I've ever seen. Can we call it at this point?

It's 25 votes ahead of the next closest option, and has only one nay vote... yeah it's pretty much a clear winner. I suppose as long as we have the permission of the original artist we could put it up.

Mattonymy, to cover all bases I did ask for permission on his deviantart page and he gave the go ahead. Looks like we're set.

Well, with the permission and a 28 point lead over the next highest that just keeps growing, I think we can say we have consensus. I put it up. Can we have a lock?
