Kohaku: Alright, we can definitely do that. Thankfully, since you're built from the original template of the Sniper Joe, transferring your CPU wholesale into a new body should have far greater compatibility than most other places have.

And are you sure, Joe? Because those kinds of platforms operate on completely different mental principles, so the differences might be a bit extreme depending on how recent you want to go.

Basically, a lot of things that mimic human thought processes more closely.

Kohaku: It won't be easy, obviously, but if you want to upgrade to a reploid body, that's something you'd need to do, either before or after. Because if you don't take precautions your mind might start trying to patch any resulting holes with unwanted programs or predilections you don't want.
We Are Our Avatars Forever (Now on Discord by invitation, PM)Kohaku: I mentioned that "data chamber" before. While we could do that, there's another way. Basically exposing it to you very slowly via continuous exposure in small doses.
...Also known as watching videos of these concepts till your intelligence adapts a crude enough form of them to safely fit your brain into the reploid.

Kohaku: Alright. There's obviously installing your CPU wholesale into a brand new untouched CPU, but it's a chance that the you that exists now would become hidden program inside of a new persona created to keep you moving forward. Not ideal, but you'll definitely survive it.
Second is doing something to what miss Blues did, putting the contents of your CPU into a brand new body. Downside being you might end up like miss Blues if something ends up tampering with the form. Or other issues, such as being mentally unable to adjust to the physical differences.
Third is putting your cpu into what I'll call a "data chamber" for simplicty's sake, where I upload you into a completely isolated and protected portable device. It'll convert all of your data and memories into something that matches the new cpu that would be installed so you can be sure that you come out as completely intact as possible. It could potentially give you holes in your memory if there are areas of your programming that are corrupted, but it's what I'd say is the "safest".
