Titania: You're welcome! What do you think of mine?
-is wearing a swimsuit with flames on it-
Lust: -shrugs- Just because, I suppose. I heard some of my friends were here, so I said "why not"?
-Heba freezes up at this question, looking uncomfortable-
Heba: ...Well, um... ok, I guess this had to come up eventually.
See, I wasn't always a genie. I used to be a normal human - a human who would get very sick very often. My parents did everything they could to help me get better and live a normal life, but I just kept getting sicker. My body was weak, and medicine didn't really seem to help me. They were starting to get worried that they wouldn't... that something would happen to me.
It was around this time that my dad found this lamp just lying around somewhere. Curious, he picked it up, and soon after a djinn came out of the lamp. The djinn said he would grant any wish he had - almost any, at least. Dad was skeptical at first, but eventually realized the djinn was real, and then he said his wish. He wanted me to get better, so that he would never have to worry about losing his daughter.
The djinn regretfully told him he couldn't do this, because genies weren't allowed to interfere with who lives and who dies. My parents pleaded with him, asking if there was anything he could possibly do to help me. After a while, he explained there was one way he was allowed to grant their wish, but that such a wish would come with consequences, which he explained to them. He asked them to reconsider, that such a wish could make them even more upset. But, they both made the wish, and I was no longer sick - or even mortal, for that matter. Because, well... I became a genie.

Roger: "Aye, this lass here conjured me some rum!"
