Holdar had woken up not too long ago and was no wandering around the tower in search of something interesting when he hears talk about giant chickens.
"Giant chickens, really? Can one of you show me where you saw them? I could probably get some useful ingredients for my alchemy out of them, and there'd still be plenty of meat left for us."
Your mind is a software. Program it. Your body is a shell. Change it. Death is a disease. Cure it. Extinction is approaching. Fight it."Damn. And I could use those ingredients too. I doubt I'll any warbeasts in this city, so these giant chickens might have been a good chance to replenish my supplies."
Holdar pauses as he takes a closer look at Shepard. He takes a couple steps towards the dog-person, a broad grin appearing on his face. "Say, do you think you could sniff out the way they went if you went back to where you first saw them? I'm sure you could if you tried. I'll let you eat as much as you want of them when I'm done, though we should probably save some for the others here. What do you say, shall we give it a try?"

Holdar turns around and makes to leave, but stops by the door to look over his shoulder. "Unless you got any better ideas where I could find some potent ingredients."
Your mind is a software. Program it. Your body is a shell. Change it. Death is a disease. Cure it. Extinction is approaching. Fight it."Well, any kind of animal or plant with unusual abilities. Arcane minerals too. A lot of my alchemy relies on things such as animal fat, poison glands, bioluminescent extracts, organic or mineral acid, crystals or even ectoplasm. There's a reason why it's also called meat alchemy. If I was able to get my hands on any plants or flesh infused with arcane energy that would be even better, but I'll take what I can get. The ingredients need to be fresh though, so I prefer to hunt for them myself. And it's not like there is a big market for alchemical ingredients in the wilderness where I come from. Besides, no self-respecting bone grinder would pay for things like animal fat if they can just go out and get some themself."

Shepard: It's fine, I just wanna know, really
