Yin: It's rather fascinating. There are so many masked men and women running about it's hard to keep track of them all.
I do think a highway man attempted to rob me when I walked down a darkened alleyway, but a strange man dressed as a bat came to my aid. I don't think I got his name, though. That was a real shame.
-Kohaku pauses and listens- We Are Our Avatars Forever (Now on Discord by invitation, PM)
Holdar closes his eyes as he leans back in thought, causing his seat to creak in protest. "Hmmm yes, I suppose I should start explaining myself. Very well."
He leans forward again, causing another creak from the seat as he places his arms on the table and looks directly into Igno's eyes.
"Dhunia is a goddess of earth and fertility. It was she who created the world and the life that inhabits it. Our legends tell us that she birthed us after the Devourer Wurm ravaged her, not long after she created it when she realized that there had to be predators as well as prey, destruction as well as creation. In ancient times we worshipped both the Wurm and Dhunia equally, but we turned to Dhunia for healing and rebirth when the conflict with the humans and their priest-kings of old brought us close to extinction. As a shaman of Dhunia I am a healer and protector of my people, both in times of peace and in war."
Holdar took one of his hands off the table to stroke the spiky growths that adorned his chin. "Now, a Kriel is what you might call a tribe, and the United Kriels are just that, a large group of Kriels that came together for mutual protection and to fight for a homeland for all Trollkin. You can tell which Kriel one of us belong to by the colors and pattern of their quitari, though members of the United Kriels often take to wearing the same Quitari as the rest of their warband.
Lastly, Ord is... I admit I don't know much about it. I have been told that it is the smallest of the human kingdoms, though it boasts the most powerful fleet. Most of my experience with humans stems from wilderness folk that live within it's borders. Some of them consider themselves Ordic, while others consider themselves members of a specific human tribe. Is there anything else you'd like to know?"
Your mind is a software. Program it. Your body is a shell. Change it. Death is a disease. Cure it. Extinction is approaching. Fight it."Well, this" said Holdar as he gestured to the blue tartan- patterned cloth visible beneath the rune-carved stones around his neck and hanging between his legs. "Sorry for not making this clear earlier."
Looking forward to seeing Igno ask him about what he meant by "speaker's tongue" It's almost time for me to call it a night, though I guess I can stay up a bit longer.

Holdar's stomach took this time to remind them that it had yet to be fed, eliciting a sigh from the elderly trollkin. "I wonder what you decided to get for us, and I hope the food here tastes as good as it looks."
He began to finger the oiled pouches hanging from his belt, wondering if he should pass the time with a bite of jerky, but decided to wait some more.
I'll do one more post and then go to bed.
