-A portal opens, and Bones and Mitch step out of it. Mitch's armor is slightly charred.-

Mitch: Bones, remind me to never go there again.

Bones: I'll keep that in mind.

Chibi!Asagi:-Notices Bones and Mitch-

...Wha 'appen tah you guys?

Bones: -points to Mitch- He finally got back from one of his odd jobs.

Mitch: I will never look at green, foamy liquid the same way again.

Chibi!Asagi: O-O

Mitch: -to Chibi!Asagi- No. Seriously. My armor was burned through around a trillion times by venapede acid. It's green and foamy, which reminds me: never give me Mountain Dew, ever.

Bones: -facepalms-

Chibi!Asagi: ...Oh. Cause...I didn' know what tah says to "green foamy liquid"...

*Hilarity and Mana are in the pokemon center*

Mitch: Trust me. If you weren't wearing this armor, -taps it. It responds with a hollow clang, before falling into pieces-, then... yeah.

Yuzuki : Hey Luca how are you

Chibi!Asagi: ...Right...so, where ya been?

(Meanwhile, back in the Aquabase for likely the last time for a while, Catherine and Kotohime are talking in her old room. The former doesn't show any signs of nervousness at all, though the latter looks worried)

Kotohime: ...Catherine? I guess...this is it.

Catherine: Yeah. The day where we all will save Alyx's Mariner Bay. (she holds her girlfriend's hands) I'm hoping that we're ready enough to do whatever it takes, but I'm positive that we are. I've seen my old team and my family train so hard, and I'm proud of them. (she smiles)

Kotohime: Even me? (she pulls out a spell card)

Catherine: Well, you are family, in a way. (she smirks)

Kotohime: Thanks.

Catherine: Having said that, ah...(she leans closer)...if I don't make it out alive...I want to say to you that I love you, and I'll always be with you in spirit. I never thought that I would love again ever since I broke up with Dana years ago. But ever since I met you, ever since that day where we...(she blushes)...my faith in love has been renewed. And I want to thank you for that.

Kotohime: Y-you're welcome. And...I love you, too, Catherine.

(the two kiss. Buuuuut little do they know that A) the door has a circular window and B) Victoria, Joel, and Ryan are silently watching the couple...okay, they kinda watched right where they kissed, but still. Regardless, the three whisper, and Victoria pulls out an iPod. Then, as sudden as a thunderbolt, this plays, and the three sing along)

Victoria/Joel/Ryan: AND IIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII~...

Catherine: ! (she stops kissing, and she turns around to see them, blushing deep red) What the hell was that for?

Joel: Oh...sorry about that. But it was Ryan's idea!

Ryan: Bullshit. Victoria was the one who had the iPod.

Victoria: Guys, guys! (to Catherine) We were trying to play a harmless prank. Just to calm you down.

Catherine: ...(she facepalms) Look, guys. Kotohime and I were trying to have some private time. You guys wouldn't like it if I played music in order to ruin whatever intimate moment you may have. Actually, it gives me an idea. (has a trollface, albeit subtle)

Joel: What is it, Cath? Look, we're sorry, okay? (he looks a bit frightened)

Ryan: I don't want to know what the idea is...

Catherine: The next time any one of you have an intimate moment, I'll just randomly play a song from my iPod. And I'm not afraid to use it, either. (looks at Victoria) Yes, even you. Just because you're my daughter doesn't mean that you escape punishment.

Victoria: I'm sorry, Mom! Guys, let's get out of here!

(Victoria, Ryan, and Joel leave. Catherine smiles)

Kotohime: ...are you really going to do that?

Catherine: No. Like I'll ever do that. Scaring them straight, I find, is a good strategy. They'll shape up. (she chuckles and kisses her again)

(meanwhile, Alyx is snoring softly in the lab, having fallen asleep whilst trying to make Catherine a present. Ms. Fairweather-Rawlings is about to put the final touches on Alyx's morpher. Elsewhere in the training area, Adult!Rika attempts to perfect the moves on her latest dance-fight combo. And scattered in the various areas of the Aquabase itself are the other Rangers, with Dana looking at the monitor in the main area with Michael)
