Universe: Final Fantasy XIII before the fall of the cocoon and her confession (I have yet to play the sequels)
Abilities/Powers:

Basically she is more less as poweruld as Sash and Serah are in the game.

As a lu'cie Vanille is to summon an Eidolon called Hecatoncheir/hecaton, a multi-armed, Earth-elemental Eidolon that transforms into a bipedal mech with four machine gun turrets.

As a lu'cie She also is proficient in many forms of magic specially those of "ravager" that includes elemental power attacks to raise her enemies vulnerability
She is also able to use healing magic to heal her fellow party members that removes negative effects and may help someone already knocked out to get back in a fight.
Her special ability is death. That could randomly defeat an enemy instantly. I could see this being op so I would rarely (if ever use) and only then only if the other player agrees.
Her weapon of choice is a a Binding Rod. "Its head piece resembles a pair of antlers and the body consists of four long wires with hooks that deal damage to enemies by latching on and pulling".
She is able to use "saboteur class spells" wich basicallly reduce her enemy defenses

Personalty Vanille is a cheerful girl with a very sunny disposition that hides her inner guilt. She currently hides the secret of being a lu'cie with the "focus" of destroying cocoon. The ff13 wiki describes her the following way "Vanille has a childlike innocence, and is considerate, understanding, and, at times, headstrong and stubborn, but has the maturity of someone her age. Vanille is empathetic, easily driven to tears, and cares deeply for other people"

hello Liz

about the trial plot Uncandescent send me this great ideas of him about the plot we could follow on.

So I've been thinking about the trial over the past few days, and I've come up with something that I'd like to run by you. While I could conceivably come up with a lawyer character or indeed have Iron or Mercury do the dirty work, Greenleaf is first and foremost Mary's bad guy. So what if the child abuse case was headed up by a mysterious newcomer, a woman who takes an unrelenting and almost personal stance against Greenleaf. And then, when it comes time to strike the final blow, she says a magic word and disappears in a flash of light, to reveal... Mary herself! That's right, in the month an a half since the initial accusation, Mary was chosen by the wizard and then used the wisdom of Solomon to read up on the knowledge she'd need to face Greenleaf in court. I thought it be a perfect fit, especially since you have some actual law knowledge. I haven't said anything to Liz about it because I wanted to pick your brain first. What do you think?

My only suggestion is that in case you have planned for the wizard to visit after the trial and to make the plot more interesting would be the following: To have kid Mary and adult Mary at the same time with the adult one coming from the (near) future in a Help Yourself in the Future kind of way( without telling anyone who she really is). Keeping the reveal later that the woman that helped Mary was in fact her future self.

I am aware this might be a bit too much bending the Willing Suspension of Disbelief.
