^^ I actually thought that's what he was doing the first time through. By the time I figured out it was probably meant to be taken at face value I basically said screw it because the Fridge Brilliance was too awesome.
Robots can't lie, so Emerl took it as truth?
EDIT: But where did the energy Emerl absorbed come from?
(Could it be considered an Overclocking Attack or Explosive Overclocking of sorts?)

The Protomen enhanced my life. With that in mind, that just makes the ending even more saddening...
Experience has taught me to investigate anything that glows.^^ I'd say Explosive Overclocking or something, yeah. He's hardwired to try and emulate what he sees. Eggman showed him a weapon that generates physically impossible results. BANG go the brain-meats, and he just kind of flails around at full power trying to blow up stars, with Sonic's arsenal as the closest thing he has to a template with which to commence star-blowing-up.
He's fried himself so badly that he's actually trying to blow up stars by breakdance fighting.

^ Holy shit, the ending makes sense now. And Eggman's even more of a bastard.
Also, never let this robot watch Dragon Ball Z.

I think I already mentioned that DBZ thing before..
But I never thought of that thing. That was unexpectedly dastardly and pure evil genius from Eggman!
I was rather puzzled at first why he wanted the Gizoid AKA Emerl to copy his latest super weapon to be used, if he already has it? Sure Emerl would be a smaller and more compact way to have it around though, but that made little sense.
The whole fooling Emerls computing to thinking there was a super weapon when all he built was something that didn't really work...? Holy shit. He had that shit planned way ahead of everyone.
And the whole time i thought he could only copy the things he sees for real, not what he thinks he sees. His AI made it real?
I think I should already download an emulator and check the ending myself, to be sure this isn't just
Though I don't think Emerl was trying to destroy stars with breakdancing... I suppose his body is of morphing metal substance.. Stuff. Like the T-whatever in Terminatior 2. Only much more limited.

Sonic hates SOPAI think Tails pretty much fits the bill for Only Sane Man and best rolemodel for Emerl. Atleast the robot learns some manners from him. =/
Though it is kinda funny, combined with Sonic's general dickery. "Hey Emerl, ignore Knuckles!" "Ignore! Ignore!" That had me chuckling quite a bit.
Sonic hates SOPAI could imagine between the games, someone says "Why are we friends with you again?"
I thought he could only copy things he actually witnessed.
The sad, REAL American dichotomy^ He could copy normal cards for anyone in battle(except Phis or very specific storyline events), and Rares can be gotten from any battle that he can get a normal card.
I've owned 3 total copies of Sonic Battle, I'm kind of a nerd on this game.
Quest 64 thread^Gameplay and Story Segregation. I'm talking about the storyline now. What you just said about the gameplay I mentioned on the last page.
The sad, REAL American dichotomyAh, my bad. I kind of enjoyed the Sonic X Adaption.
Really, it only lacked E-102 Chaos Gamma and Chaos 0.
Quest 64 threadIf I didn't mention it on here, it was on the thread that this spawned from.
The sad, REAL American dichotomyI believe it was the Sonic 4 thread, as you mentioned earlier.
I was at 99% for a year, just needing Speed Up 2. I got it on my third copy, since my second one went missing.
I really did enjoy the storyline overall, though I do agree with Knuckles' VS Gamma Phis is rediculous...
I just wished you could play as Shadow for more than...4 battles in his storyline?
Quest 64 threadShadow's and Chaos 0's are my most preferred. While the latter is a single direction, it covers a lot more ground.
Quest 64 threadShadow's, even though it doesn't combo well. Knuckles' was pretty good.
The sad, REAL American dichotomyY'know, did we ever SEE the super egg blaster? I assume it's a Wave-Motion Gun, so that's what I added to the page...
May wanna write up a WMG page and post that theory?
The Protomen enhanced my life.

Wasn't Emerl like, the best Gizoid? The one that was sort of the last straw?
I have a message from another time...
