Just finished it.

I've been waiting to play this game in English for so many years that I feel like I just closed a book that had been left open for a looong time, it's really satisfying to finally have some closure.

I read up a bit on a few of the past pages of this thread to see what we used to speculate, just for fun.

Unmarked spoilers below.

First of all, no Suginami route, bummer, how is this guy everywhere, seriously.

Story was really fun, it didn't really tug at the heartstrings like it did for me in DC 2, but it's been like 6 years and I'm not a teenager anymore so I guess it's to be expected. It did have it's moments though.

I actually liked all the heroines and most characters this time around, even the ones I thought I wasn't going to (I was getting sick of Sara by the end of her route though).

I liked how they flipped the script on Himeno's route and instead of you having to save the Nemu expy, she saves you. Ricca is best girl along with Himeno right behind, the other characters I have no strong feelings either way. I think Kousuke might be funnier than Wataru, but I really liked Wataru's contribution to the drama on Nanaka's route.

Shame there was no route for Tomoe or Shiki, also I would have liked to see more Mikoto.

I really liked the surprise Da Capo 2 extra chapter closing the game, it was like seeing a bunch of old friends you haven't met in a long time, and the parts with Sakura and Yoshiyuki did manage to make me teary eyed.

Too bad Manga Gamer probably won't do the fandiscs, because I'd really love to play the Hatsune Island-side game.
