What I find most amusing is that in his latest post he still begs to get his edit rights back while saying he learnt his lesson AND indicating he still wants to add those Tropes he got banned for back to the page after a 'discussion'.

I doubt he's getting his ban lifted. Ah well, another one bites the dust.

@Zudak, late reply, because why not?: Yeah, it has dodgy desing and it really sucks, but it was way worst. Maybe Cuba is discovering...COMPUTAHS?

It's not exactly naive. And it can happen. But it's tough. And definetly worthwhile.

Almost 90% certain it was just a troll posing. Probsbly went for NK coz it would get a reaction, which it did.

If it weren't that troper displayed a certain amount sincerity in his rants, I've would have pegged him being a troll from China, Japan, or S. Korea.

Why do people find it so hard not to go off on tangents in that thread?

I completely agree with the idea that the YMMV/Not-YMMV split is a terrible idea and completely stupid, but I'm not going to get into a war over it.

It's good in theory, but it causes more problems than it solves.

Yeah, we should just scrap them altogether.

It just makes pages look ugly to me. Though I am getting used to it.

I believe that it's for the best. We eliminate natter and keep the tropes everyone likes.

As to what is a YMMV trope...

It's not exactly naive. And it can happen. But it's tough. And definetly worthwhile.

[up][up] So we need the equivalent of Cheerleaders or Pit Babes (need not be female) for the Edit Banned thread. And a popcorn/coke machine.

And an arena where the Mods dump the trolls to be devoured by wild animals.

I'm not going on a tangent, I'm telling that person that he's handling this YMMV thing incorrectly, and that's why he's still banned >__>
