Like how the Megaman Fanbase keeps pissing me off, because they can't get over the fact that Megaman Legends 3 was canceled.

Watch SymphogearExactly how many fans and fanbases do you people hang around anyway? If you hate a fanbase, can't you just not be around it, ignore it, and pretend it doesn't exist? It shouldn't be that hard, right? I haven't met any annoying fans outside the internet (not that I go looking for them), and any fanbase that really gets on my nerves is of stuff that I would never even think of looking at in the first place.

I prefer dubs over subs because of convenience (If I wanted to read a story then I'd buy a book, I have that kind of mentaility), but if I HAVE to watch a show with subtitles, then I wouldn't even twitch, I'd be completely ok with it.
and EVERYONE likes Death Note
(not really but still...)
another controversial opinion of mine: Sebastian is one of my most hated characters in all of fiction.

"Contests fought between two masters are decided instantly. An invisible battle is now raging between the two of them." Lulu vs SchneizelI prefer dubs, mostly because the subbing community tends to pander to japanophiles, rather than just translate.
Of course, there're good subtitles out there, buuuuut you have to look for them. Whereas dubs are only one per language.
Basically, me is lazy.
I don't have a particular problem with subtitles, though.
Also...
So do menus. Your point?
"My life is my own" | If you want to contact me privately, please ask first on the forum.I think dubbing is something you just get used to. The way they speak is somewhat stilted, my dad can't stand it, but when you get used to it, the actors can be really enthralling sometimes, plus, I can't eat a meal if I'm reading subs
I just hate the implied notion that TRUE anime fans choose subtitles.

"Contests fought between two masters are decided instantly. An invisible battle is now raging between the two of them." Lulu vs SchneizelWell, while the quality of the dub helps, I was talking mostly about how those shows are. The Noir (or whatever) atmosphere CB goes for just doesn't work as well with Japanese as it does with English, same for Darker than Black (Also, November 11 without an actual British accent? What madness is that?).
@Beorc: If I cared for advocating EVA's quality, I'd be doing so. But I'd have to be an idiot for doing so. Not because I dislike it, but simply because EVA is divisive. Incredibly so. Disliking it is not uncommon.
"My life is my own" | If you want to contact me privately, please ask first on the forum.I think preferring subs or dubs as some sort of general rule is... equally retarded.
I just choose whatever has better voices on a case-to-case basis. And then, instead of becoming the same subbing-vs-dubbing debate as always, it becomes a matter of taste. And since I have the greatest taste in the world, I'm always right.

Murrl LustFatMBecause that's pretty much all I know about you.
I like to watch both and see which one is better, but I always prefer watching the dub first because...um...
I dunno lol

Actually DDR already kind of apologized and said it was wrong to equate fanbase with the objective quality of a show.
