Looking at the wiki page for the final book, most of the uncovered details just look like pointless bullshit to me.

Fourth book is coming out? I was wondering when it would. I'm looking forward to it.

I would guess the stuff like Paolini talking about BRAINS! or black cloaks or dudes with impeccable fingernails. We don't care about any of those things, gimme some Murtagh already.

There is "more to Angela than meets the eye" and she will have "several crowning moments of awesomeness."

Okay, that just makes me nervous. Has Paolini discovered Tv Tropes?

^^ I think it would be funny if he did. Maybe that's why it took so long to get the 4th book finished. If it results in the last book being better, that'd be a CMOA for Tv Tropes.

It could go the other way, though.

I was sort of thinking he had a Heroic BSoD upon discovering us and realizing what he had been doing is not always... adviseable.

And I will be buying the last book.

From everything I've heard, his family was very well to do even before he started writing.

Because they're rich?

I can't wait for Kippur to spork it.

"Crowning Moments of Awesome" Oh my god. Looks like somebody discovered Tvtropes.

When's it coming out?

November this year.

And I find it highly unlikely that a famous author who uses Tv Tropes wouldn't bother to look up their own page. Or notice the various derogatory entries about them.

[up]He got the idea for a great new villain who will show up and be brutally killed by Eragon...

My opinion: Best case scenerio, the series starts to transition towards Troperriffic instead of just Cliché Storm. Worst case?

And honestly, though he isn't a good writer, he's better than most people who claim they could do better.

Is this idea really still going around? You don't have to be able to cook to know food tastes bad.

[down]No, you really don't. People who can't cook still know what food tastes like.

You do need to know how to cook the said food, and the ingrediants for the said food.

No, you really don't. I don't know how to cook Coq au Vin, but I can recognize when it's done well, poorly, or mediocre. (The worst having undercooked chicken and overcooked veggies - don't ask.) I don't have to be a chef at all to criticize a restaurant's food, so why should I have to be a writer to criticize a novel?

Waiting on a TRS slot? Finishing off one of these cleaning efforts will usually open one up.
