The front wheels are locked and the rear wheels are spinning up for a fast take off.

Basically, do a spinning wheel smoking rear tire takeoff in a car that is not rear wheel drive. Look for smoke bomb smoke when this happens.
Or a car that drifts a turn or spins a turn like a rear wheel drive car, but the car is front wheel drive (see the Mitsubishi Eclipse spins out on a turn scene early in the movie The Fast And The Furious)
It can also be if a car that is visibly and notably 4WD gets stuck, but the driver doesn't try using 4WD to unstick the car, but instead keeps the throttle mashed down or tries to rock it, with no effort to try so with 4WD turned on.

After reading the trope's definition and its examples, I still have no idea how to spot this in action. Some explanation of the telltale signs of an onscreen car being rear-wheel drive instead of front-wheel or 4WD, and how that affects the way it's used, would be most appreciated.
