Just post whatever comes to mind.
Please refrain from excess venting in this thread. Talking about negative emotions is fine but it's best not to dwell on them for too long. TV Tropes is not suited to deal with mental health situations.
If Oscar Wilde had lived in our time, he would be a /b/tard.
Actually, scratch that. He does, and goes by Jethro Q Walrustitty.

If an art tutorial makes something sound easy its because it's not really a tutorial and they're really just showing off*
- I have read a lot of crappy tutorials over the years, the most helpful ones don't make it sound easy and go into actual detail where as the bad ones will go "yeah so I did this and then wow look at that!"
I found a drawing I did back when I was a kid and my drawing style has literally not improved one bit since then. I still draw the same way and it's embarrassing.
Interesting. The idea of visiting one someday perks my interest, except I don't like Goth Rock so it's pointless.
I like The Cure, Joy Division, and Nick Cave And The Bad Seeds. I don't really consider it goth though, more alternative. I'm not goth but my friend is and they invited me cause I like that music and Tim Burton. I'm very curious about it.
“We’re all mad here. I’m mad. You’re mad.” - Lewis CarrollI wonder if there's something to be said for the fact that several of the things I love (amusing glitches (and also glitch aesthetic), bad translations and So Bad, It's Good works) all go under, to some extent, "objectively flawed things that are liked because of said flaws"...

"Leftover items still have value!"Currently writing a story where the Big Bad is the daughter of Dracula and Lilith, and the granddaughter of Lucifer.
I don't think I've ever written a more OP villain in my entire life.
RIP KissAnime.I don't like Crusader tanks much but damn, aren't Paladin tanks awesome. Better armor, firepower, attack range and they come with missile countermeasures in the form of PDL (personal defense laser). And for tier 2, they're small and agile/nimble enough. I love massing them.
I was tried in court today... case dismissed! I'm quite happy about it :)
Merry Chriztmaz ya filthy animals! That's great news. :) What was it for, if I may ask?
Princess Aurora is underrated, pass it on.Halloween is coming up next month. I don't know how to feel about it.
Halloween was fun when I was a kid. Seeing the school put up designs, getting costumes, seeing everyone get hyped, watching Scary Godmother and other Halloween specials, playing Animal Crossing... Now it seems more annoying than anything. You just spend $60+ on candy and give it to kids for free.
That's one way to look at it. Fall's my favorite season so perhaps I'm a little biased.
Rent stuff. Nothing too exciting.
Merry Chriztmaz ya filthy animals!Same. The Holiday Season plus cooler temps is a winning combination.
Doctor Who — Long Way Around: https://www.fanfiction.net/s/13536044/1/Doctor-Who-Long-Way-AroundWhere I live it is hotter during the Holiday season so that's not much of a plus for me.
(x3) Fall's my favorite season, but Halloween itself isn't that interesting. I've heard that adults are getting into Halloween parties more but I grew up in the type of family that views Halloween as a "kid's thing". You put a few decorations up, buy candy, and call it a day.
I envy those guys who go full Haloween. I'd like to be like that once I get my own place, but it still feels weird. Halloween as a kid is very active and social, but I'm not the party type so Halloween as an adult is very introverted.
Who the fuck had the idea to incorporate rap into a musical, and why the fuck is it so fucking good! (Listening to Hamilton)
A nightly dance of bleeding swords reminds me that I still liveHappy Birthday to the coolest Jedi Master and the coolest Joker.
Princess Aurora is underrated, pass it on.I could've sworn he was older than that
simple asRegarding Halloween, I love it (and as a cosplayer, the dress-up aspect really appeals to me) but unfortunately there's not much Halloween stuff going on here :/ Not much of a "party" person either... maybe I'll just watch some bad spoopy movies with a friend if there's nothing going on.

"Leftover items still have value!"I mostly just play old "spooky" games during Halloween, like Castlevania, 'cause it's not as if there's a lot going on here related to the holiday.
Mark Hamil's only 58? I thought he was older. I still haven't been able to watch a Star Wars film. I tried to watch the trilogy in release order but got bored 30 minutes into the first film.
I've been trying to get into the spirit of watching major Halloween specials yearly. It feels nice when you wait all year for something like that; like, I could drink egg nog all year long, but it's more fun when it's a December thing.
I don't think CN has Scary Godmother on its schedule anymore. I can watch it on Youtube or buy the DVD, but it's more fun when you see it on TV.
Now that I think about it, I've never actually finished a Halloween Town film and I haven't finished Hocus Pocus either. I'll need to do that this year.
Just checked, because that didn’t make sense to me either. Hamill is 68, not 58.
SoundCloudI love cooking up a great dinner and watching scary movies on Halloween. :)
Princess Aurora is underrated, pass it on.I love Halloween, but I've never really had the time or resources to put together a decent costume.
So I just got invited to a goth club later in October.
Edit: Very odd page topper.
