Actually, scratch that. He does, and goes by Jethro Q Walrustitty.

I wonder if there are any works out there that have Reluctant Yanderes.

Some people made Tailchaser's Song and Varjak Paw Wikias before I could. Sadly, the Varjak Wiki suffers from those ugly graphics that the Warriors Wiki also has. The Tailchaser Wiki has much cleaner images.

Using Wikia's on mobiles is so annoying, though. You randomly get spam ads and redirects.

Wikia as a whole is annoying to use regardless of gadget.

[up]x5 Yeah, it really is.

I wish a new education system could be brought about. Our current one is a glorified daycare, teaching mostly useless subjects. Imagine instead 1st period business class, or social skills class, or standardized martial arts training. Education could stop at high school and students become apprentices until age 18(ish), when they enter the workforce proper. Maybe it wouldn't work in our current society, however.

A good friend of mine from highschool turned into a nasty anti-feminist.

As I'm watching the original 13 Ghosts thanks to Svengoolie, it gave me this random thought. I feel like the "skeptical husband and believing wife" should be a trope (if it isn't already). In movies like that one, the leading ladies are more accepting of supernatural explanations than their husbands are. Why is that? :S

Pinkie Pie and flugelhorns are a bad combination.

Well, that's how things usually are in real life. I read an interview with a professional (purported) psychic, and he said that 80% of his customers are women.

So me, my sister and a couple of friends played Mansion of Madness for the first time today.

It was a really fun, 5 hours long campaign...and we lost just as the f*cking ship was sailling!

And I'm mad because me and my sister did the most work and yet we were both killed off! Srly, talk about unfair.

@megarockman: Late answer, but any exemples would just fall into Reluctant Psycho.

I dislike Harry Potter and only read the first book, but I really like reading HP fanfics. More specifically, I like Slytherin!Hermione a lot.

The fact that movies on TV have a bunch of commercials peppered in between is a blessing in disguise, innit?

(Or maybe I'm just a nut, I dunno.)

oh, that's why I need this binary mind //

[up] I've known people who hate movies with commercials. They do make a convenient point to, say, use the bathroom or get some snacks, but break immersion. I don't care to much about immersion (especially for the kinds of movies aired on television) but many people do.

I swear, most people don't read the labels on cleaning products.

My mom loves Lysol disinfectant spray and sprays it on practically every fabric. I did the same for 2-4 years until I read the label and realized how toxic it can be. I used to spray it on my bed, my pillow, even my clothes (but only before I put them in the hamper to wash). I used to be so nonchalant about getting Lysol on my clothes or skin; I thought it was non-toxic. I never had any allergic reaction to it but it's scary to think what it could do to my insides. Now I avoid Lysol like the plague, which annoys my parents because they think it cleans well.
