Actually, scratch that. He does, and goes by Jethro Q Walrustitty.

Fitting thread for such a post, but if I were able to set the tone of music in a building, I'd deliberately play elevator music set to the genre of bossa at irregular intervals after dramatic classical pieces, other's opinions be damned.

There aren't enough Supporting Protagonists. Too many stories are focused on the hero and him saving the day.

I'm more interested in the guys who have to help him.

Right...wasn't it that one dwarf who was the real hero? I didn't finish the book and I only saw the animated movie, but I'm pretty sure the hero wouldn't have been Gandolf.

If you're into visual novels, really barebones RP Gs and scantily-clad people (not just women- men, too. Especially dwarves.) you should check out Loren The Amazon Princess.

[up][up]Yeah, Thorin is kind of the hero-type character, and Bilbo is the Supporting Protagonist.

Yeah, that's one of the things I agree with Linkara that's wrong with the story.

There are 13 dwarves and maybe 3 of them matter.

It's okay. There are seven dwarves in Snow White and how many of them really mattered?

You mean the movie or the fairy tale?

Because I forget the fairy tale.

Probably the fairy tale because that's more basic.

The movie has all that Disney personality to it.

I don't even remember if they had names in the fairy tale.

I've found that the more I age the more difficulty I have reading books without constantly reading ahead, reading lines without actually registering them, and generally getting distracted by anything and everything.

Which honestly seems like the opposite of what should happen.

For some reason, I have a tough time reading things that aren't mandated or not fanfiction. And even when the books I read are mandated, I usually forget about them, which sucks.

I dunno, maybe it's a psychology thing. Most of the fanfiction I read is of a visual medium, so I guess I can visualize it better when I already have a base or something.
