Just post whatever comes to mind.
Please refrain from excess venting in this thread. Talking about negative emotions is fine but it's best not to dwell on them for too long. TV Tropes is not suited to deal with mental health situations.
If Oscar Wilde had lived in our time, he would be a /b/tard.
Actually, scratch that. He does, and goes by Jethro Q Walrustitty.

I've had this account for a long while, actually. It's a backup I use sometimes.
I don't particularly like the username GameSpazzer. It's something You Tube picked out for me as a default, and now I'm stuck with it.
I'm using this one now both because of the contest (and having the Tonberry confuses people due to the avatar-based RP I'm in), and because my internet has been acting up all week and the browser this account is logged into works faster than my normal one.

Shakespeare is so much easier to understand when you see it performed.
On the page it's almost a different language.
Fresh-eyed movie blogI once heard an excerpt of a dramatic reading of Beowulf in the Old English, and I could actually understand a lot of it.
Fresh-eyed movie blogI never understood why English classes insist on teaching Shakespeare or even poetry through reading. They're performance mediums. They don't work if you just read them.
It's like if someone just made you read the screenplay to Citizen Kane.

"It's so hard to be humble, knowing how great I am."Most of the plays my classes studied we read aloud.
Especially 10th grade. I volunteered to read the Chorus in Antigone because it had the most Greek names to say and everyone else in the class had difficulty pronouncing them, but eventually I got bored doing only monologues and switched to Tiresias.
Fresh-eyed movie blogMy roommate and her prick boyfriend broke up today, so that's one less thing I have to deal with.
Looking for some stories?I dislike how the Hastings application is written like a multiple choice test with "right" answers.
I've filled it out probably four times already and I've never gotten a good combination of answers for them to even call me back, but hopefully after having gotten this other job I might have a little more of a chance?
It's a good thing I'm obsessive or I'd be doomed to my routine.
You gotta believe me when I scare you away, all that I wish for is that you would stay
