If Oscar Wilde had lived in our time, he would be a /b/tard.

Actually, scratch that. He does, and goes by Jethro Q Walrustitty.

I don't like buying expensive books for my Kindle Fire, but aI don't mind spending money on hardback books.

[up]Out of interest, what would you consider expensive for a Kindle book?

I pretty much agree with you, but I find the price point differs from person to person.

I often buy books that cost less than £1...

Even e-books that are £5 seem expensive...

That's fair enough.

It's actually amazing the debate that goes on about how eBooks are priced...

I was tempted...

I've been tempted by a few history books that are hard to find locally in print.

I'd rather avoid ordering anything from overseas if possible in most cases.

Mum bought me one for Christmas. I said that it would help me revise and I am drastically running out off room for all my books.

Kindle Fires are wonderful things. I got my one a couple of weeks ago and in that time I've been converted. It helps that I can use Skype and the internet as I read, too. One of these days I'll put some music on it, too. One of these days.

I guess we could go... wherever we please.

Mine's just a Kindle Fire, so no camera for me.

Found the book on my Kindle. It's £6.55...

I want a HD one, but they aren't being sold in Australia yet, if memory serves.

Out on June 13 I think.

I'm just an incredibly picky reader.

No idea if it is a curse or not.

It's worth waiting for. Mine's an HD one and everything is so pretty... Just need to figure out how to get movies on it that aren't Netflix/Lovefilm/whatever. To Google!

I would consider myself a very picky reader too.

And I figured the HD one was worth the wait for. It's also a bargain here considering how expensive electronics can get down here.

I have found a book!

It's called "Disenchanted" by Robert Kroese.

The very first paragraph is "By most accounts, Boric the Implacable was, while he was alive, an incomparable badass. By all accounts, he was an even bigger badass after he died."
