Just post whatever comes to mind.
Please refrain from excess venting in this thread. Talking about negative emotions is fine but it's best not to dwell on them for too long. TV Tropes is not suited to deal with mental health situations.
If Oscar Wilde had lived in our time, he would be a /b/tard.
Actually, scratch that. He does, and goes by Jethro Q Walrustitty.

No, he's like a 15-year-old male equivalent of Rapunzel in Tangled, but without the hair (raised by a manipulative parent figure- Regin, son of Hreidmar, king of the dwarves- who wants to use him for his own ends). In this version, the dwarven foster father Regin is basically "Thorin Oakenshield, but a darker version" who wants to use Sigurd to get his rightful throne back from his cousin, who can shapeshift from a dwarf into a dragon... and oh yeah, Sigurd's also a descendant of the original Sigurd.
Since this is a YA novel, the relationship between this "changeling" and his foster father will be explored, as well as the ideas of family honour and genetic determinism.

The road goes ever on. -TolkienOh man... another close call... I just hope my masquerade of my liking of My Little Pony Friendship Is Magic won't falter in the near future. I just wish my mother did -not- seat herself in my computer chair though! (Yeah. I'm jittery.)
Nope... To make a long story short, the family does not know of my liking of the show, and if any of them knew, things would go south.

@Tuefel asking about what would happen if a family member knew of my like for My Little Pony Friendship Is Magic:
Well, I'm sure at best, they'll make a mockery of it with me, and at worst, it'll mean no mo' laptop.
I have extremely depressing Senses Fail songs stuck in my head. >_>

I like my new videogame it involves stealing from dodos. No not stupid people the actual flightless bird I get to steal from them.
