I watched Beowulf the other night. The wife and I talked over the top of the whole thing. Mostly about Anglo-Saxon history and language, but also debating whether or not Beowulf was a were-bear or berserker.

Quite frankly, I like the "rip the character completely out of the story and replace him with a skinny-armed cute witch and see how that affects the story" approach myself.

in reality, these allegedly “sexual” men, arent: they are simply aggressive and entitled, and routinely abuse girls and women by demanding PIV-sex, which is problematic for us, and not them. theres really nothing more to it, than that. and all the mansplaining in the world wont change it.

she seems to be equating "entitlement to vaginal intercourse" to "wanting to have it at all", so, technically, yeah, they are.
