Just post whatever comes to mind.
Please refrain from excess venting in this thread. Talking about negative emotions is fine but it's best not to dwell on them for too long. TV Tropes is not suited to deal with mental health situations.
If Oscar Wilde had lived in our time, he would be a /b/tard.
Actually, scratch that. He does, and goes by Jethro Q Walrustitty.

Long-term hurt/comfort relationships used to appeal to me, but now I feel that they're sort of... disgusting. And it's self-centered and stupid to think that inserting yourself in someone's life will magically make them better, unless you're willing and prepared for a shitton of physical and emotional taxation/sacrifice that I don't think the average person is capable of.
Clowns to the left of me, jokers to the right, here I am...It's a Stupid Sacrifice because it's not likely to actually help anybody.
Clowns to the left of me, jokers to the right, here I am...I dunno. I think that just trying to be a good friend is a lot better for people than you're giving credit for. It's not the end all be all of healing, but it can be nice.
Read my stories!Don't you know? October 3rd is International Birthday Day, where it's everyones birthday! HOORAY!

"Sarchasm: The gulf between the author of sarcastic wit and the person that doesn't get it."...watching mothy's videos is strangely therapeutic...even so many of the songs are about murder and sin and "evil"...
And of course, it just leaves me curious about the unmade PV's. -_-
You gotta believe me when I scare you away, all that I wish for is that you would stayA place to hire boats. Like the swan boats at Boston Lake. They kind of suck in Rollercoaster Tycoon, but nostalgia
[1] This facsimile operated in part by synAC.What I'm saying is even "trying to be a good friend" is too much for a lot of people. Are you willing to be up at 3am listening to them bawl their eyes out and yell stupid, irrational things? How about doing that every other day? If you don't they might feel betrayed and resent you, or worthless and undeserving of friendship, or both.
There was a time when I could not carry a conversation because all I could think of, literally, was stupid shit nobody knew how to deal with, including people I formerly considered closer than family. Nobody wants to be around that person, it's no fun. Plus anything you say has the possibility of making them worse.
Clowns to the left of me, jokers to the right, here I am...So, you know what rather irks me? The assumption that tyranny is the natural form of government. It's taken for granted that every government wants to be The Party, that every politician wants to be Big Brother. It's just understood that any change to any current system will turn it into Ingsoc. If the government gets power, it'll turn into the Party, if the government taxes, the system will turn into Ingsoc, if the person you're running against gets elected, if the labor unions get shut down, if you don't vote, etc, etc, etc, the whole thing turns into Oceania. The underlying assumption of current political thought is that only by dethroning and de-empowering people can Ingsoc be avoided; you don't vote for a candidate, you vote against the other fellow; you don't vote someone into office, you vote someone else out.

I'm pathologically inclined to coerce others into helping me.
It's a pretty great gift.
