Just post whatever comes to mind.
Please refrain from excess venting in this thread. Talking about negative emotions is fine but it's best not to dwell on them for too long. TV Tropes is not suited to deal with mental health situations.
If Oscar Wilde had lived in our time, he would be a /b/tard.
Actually, scratch that. He does, and goes by Jethro Q Walrustitty.

You want to find the inverse of 7, mod 8. That's a number x such that 7x ≡ 1 (mod 8). Therefore 7x - 1 = 8q (outside of modular arithmetic), where q is some integer, by the definition of modular arithmetic. From this you can get 7x - 8q = 1 easily. You can use the extended Euclidean algorithm here, or you could just guess, and it turns out that 7*7 - 8*6 = 1, and therefore 7 is its own inverse mod 8. Yay

As for the other thing, Doctor Who started up as a kid's show and all that. But when it turned into an adventure serial back in the sixties, the execs wanted to differentiate the character from the First Doctor grandfatherly teacher-like figure, so they started to model him after sherlock holmes. In fact, if you notice, the companions pretty much act the same as Watson. Capable individuals who color our impressions of the main character.

- Never Been
samples Schala's Theme
from Chrono Trigger.
- Ms. Rightfernow
samples Green Hill Zone
from the first Sonic The Hedgehog game on the Genesis.

Blergh, agghhh and hmph but also slight hmmm and a little ahh. Only a little though, sadly.
