If Oscar Wilde had lived in our time, he would be a /b/tard.

Actually, scratch that. He does, and goes by Jethro Q Walrustitty.

Uh, we had a whole discussion about Cry Baby Lane yesterday. Why the hell don't we have a page for it yet?

I think this has become my favorite Beowulf avatar now.

Banned entirely for telling FE that he was being rude and not contributing to the discussion. I shall watch down from the goon heavens.

Yes, that is a he. What makes you think otherwise?

And yes, he is sticking out his tongue.

[up][up][up] Indeed, it is. Although I don't know if that's what Beowulf actually looked like, or if Anne just created a comical Bishōnen appearance for him...

[up][up] Yep, that's exactly what Beowulf looked like.

Okay, what happened was I decided I wanted to adapt Beowulf into a comic, but I thought the original Beowulf character was incredibly boring so I made him 180 degrees different.

You know, programs in the Matrix should really have been more akin to spirits, gods, and genius loci instead of...just people walking around.

The point of the Matrix is to be an illusion, though.

In fact, they did have those things, as the results of deviant programs.

Have you seen The Animatrix, Kraken? There's one episode with a Genius Loci.

Also, you may be interested in Serial Experiments Lain.

I should watch Lain.

Also, the matrix itself is a Genius Loci of sorts, no?

Frankenstein (1818), the name of the scientist who created a monster and not thename of the creation, was written to satisfy the requirements of a "ghost story" experiment/competition. Hows does the novel compare to any ghost story you have ever read or seen? In seperate paragraphs. explain why the novel is
  • Epistolary
  • Gothic
The novel has multiple narrators you should try to identify each one, and explaion the way each perspective affects our knowledge and understanding of what happens in the novel. The full title of Shelly's science fiction novel is Frankenstein, or the Modern Prometheus. The title, of course, highlights the fable of the narrative. Is this typical of science fiction? Is what way is the title character like a modern Prometheus?

ohhhhh, I'm going to hate AP English so much
