The title Powers as Programs makes me think of magic computer programming.
You know the analogy they're going for doesn't really make all that much sense... I mean it does, I suppose it's going for the idea of generalization in programming, but I think it's unnecessary and somewhat confusing that they try to shove it in. And the page quote isn't really helping.
