Actually, scratch that. He does, and goes by Jethro Q Walrustitty.

Well, yeah, but normally being asked to feel guilty because of societal expectations doesn't mean that you're found guilty by said society's moral code.

hurm. so maybe you're just rorshach obsessed.

hurm

My point is that if you don't know this actions can hurt someone and/or can't do much in the way of helping, then how can you be held guilty?

By being held accountable within a moral system that doesn't mind your lack of intention?

Besides, practically speaking most people I know do that all the time.

^^ ... There's a difference?

Tuefel's got it right [lol]. Although now that I think of it it's kind of odd that I didn't design my cyborgs to have uniforms... idea perhaps because they're permanently attached to their "uniforms".

Well, duh, but I do disagree with such a moral system because blah blah humans are not omniscient and ara capable of flaws blah blah they make mistakes and fuck ups all the time blah blah seriously, how would you know that banana you just ate would end up producing the skin that would make Princess Diana's car crash?

Besides, practically speaking most people I know do that all the time.

meh, I see it a lot, but I think most of the time, it happens out of anger rather than out of rational thought.

^^ ... There's a difference?

in my findings, how society expects you to act and think is not the same as how society sees you. It may be just me, though.

Tuefel's got it right.

Well, yeah, we all knew that, She-Wolf. :p

And yes, I'll call you She Wolf. deal with it. B-)

You wouldn't. The moral system doesn't care. That's the point.

Do I have to say again "Duh, I disagree because it doesn't make sense to hold a man accountable for actions he did not directly orchestrate/wasn't directly involved with unless they were expected to avoid such a situation/problem from happening"?

ETA: I was fairly sure I had said this.

huh

IJBM: "Lackadaisical" is a cool word but there aren't enough opportunities to use it in actual context. It's like a waste of a cool-sounding word.

I thought we were disputing the existence of such a system, not whether or not you agree with it?

Also, where'd She-Wolf come from? It's way too badass ^__^;

It might be just you.

I don't recall many cyborgs that had clothes.

  • I think they did in Ghost In The Shell, other than the main character [lol]
  • Raiden's got a coat.
  • Archer still wore clothes when he got cyborgified.
  • Will Smith's character in the film adaptation of I Robot.
  • The Major in Hellsing. Thank God for that one.

That's what I can think of off the top of my head.

Yeah I guess it depends on to what degree they're cyborgified. Mine wear civvies when off-duty though. It would suck to get robbed for parts.

You know is that tropable? Cyborg Nudity Law Exemption?

...we were? Because of course there is such a thing, there's no denying that. I just thought Tzetze brought it up because he considered it valid.

Also, where'd She-Wolf come from? It's way too badass ^__^;

Well your objection to the system is based entirely on your own system so it's hardly compelling. I think taelor wrote about this once. But no, that's not me, noncognitivism 4 lyfe
