If Oscar Wilde had lived in our time, he would be a /b/tard.

Actually, scratch that. He does, and goes by Jethro Q Walrustitty.

It would almost certainly warrant a thumping, and really wouldn't work out will for my forum Karma Meter.

Everyone knows the story of the brave Marquis de S*** who, when informed of the magistrates' decision to burn him in effigy, pulled his prick from his breeches and exclaimed: 'God be fucked, it has taken them years to do it, but it's achieved at last; covered with opprobrium and infamy, am I? Oh, leave me, for I've got absolutely to discharge'; and he did so in less time than it takes to tell."

GEE I WONDER WHO SADE IS TALKING ABOUT IN THIS PASSAGE?

I'm not quite sure what the purpose of...most of those things are.

So, clearly, it's about a calamari and beef dinner that went horribly wrong.

Well I'll be off banging my head on a brick wall, because I am apparently the last sane human being left in existence and I don't want to feel lonely anymore.

How was I supposed to know that just from you whining like that?

But yeah. I'm no fan of Troper Tales either. Good thing we've got a special project going to take care of that kind of stuff, eh?

Man, that thread... I don't understand why you're so bent out of shape about a few random yahoos on the internet. If you're waiting for TV Tropes to be positively regarded everywhere on the internet, you're going to be waiting an awfully long time.

Fuck the haters, dude. You're getting yourself all worked up over something that has no importance.

Yeah, I'm trying to help a place I love improve itself, but I can see where you're coming from.

Also, I have a wicked cough which isn't helping things.

This, too, shall pass.

This dissertation is dedicated to the number “3469” and the letter “E”.

Dr Seuss' PhD thesis. Whoa

Dissertations are less formal than I was led to believe, I've learned.

Merleau-Ponty is odd to read. It's like the muses are inspiring weird, beautiful poetic outbursts every few chapters or so, and then he reverts back to being a standard dry academic.

I remember reading that Dr. Seuss' Yertle the Turtle was based on Hitler.

You're an ad hominem attack!
