Just post whatever comes to mind.
Please refrain from excess venting in this thread. Talking about negative emotions is fine but it's best not to dwell on them for too long. TV Tropes is not suited to deal with mental health situations.
If Oscar Wilde had lived in our time, he would be a /b/tard.
Actually, scratch that. He does, and goes by Jethro Q Walrustitty.

Who knew they had that much time to spend on the Internet?
What's the frequency Kenneth?|In case of war.Key: You expected something else posting that here?
Aside from that, saying things like that is just disturbing. You've never brought up any discomfort with masochism and the like before. And I'm curious as to why it bothers you now.

I spread my wings and I learn how to fly....I wish nerds would realize that if they went to school at Hogwarts they would hate Harry Potter's guts. The asshole is a rich, privileged jock for a sport tailor-made to make him look awesome and gets away with everything due to being the ultimate teacher's pet and anybody who tries to get him to abide by any rules is cast in the worst light possible.

This thought has nothing to do with the amount of violence in videogames. Please do not punch your monitors in rage.
Videogames depict the world in black and white. Anything moving is an enemy; shoot it, stomp it, slash it. Your guys are always the plucky, jovial guys while the other guys are cold, unfeeling mooks. Everything that exists is either beneficial (health packs, power-ups), or caustic (acid, pits). By portraying the world in such a black-white manner, many videogames present only simplistic situations to the gamer. The gamer gets used to simplicity, making them less capable of dealing with complex situations with no clear answer.

You know, people would be so normal if not for their sexual interests.
>_> I meet too many sadists, masochists, and other paraphiles whose preferences would otherwise be non-existent if I didn't know about them.
The hypocrite in me seems to just want to save them.
You gotta believe me when I scare you away, all that I wish for is that you would stay
